  1. Every time I see this I expect it to be Lucille Bluth...
  2. I'm confused. Is Patrick an NPC or not?
  3. Thank you Daniel for joining us, and honestly the response to the wagon has been very heartening. I think that if Joshua really were town and had nothing of consequence to share, he'd have penaltied himself out of the game before, not after, he got hammered. But he isn't town so his best move is to try to trick us into thinking he is, all the way until he flips on the morning of day three. I'm not fooled.
  4. I apologize for insulting your motivations and logic. We do need a lynch and fortunately the very scummy Joshua currently has the most votes. Please change your vote so we may achieve this lynch and come to tomorrow with the information rendered by his flip.
  5. Daniel, you obviously want us to lynch either you or Vincent. That's not happening today just because of the numbers. Right now Joshua is on 5 while you are on 4. If you really think we are working together, why don't you help us lynch Joshua so we'll at least have one concrete answer in the new day? This smacks of fake concern. I don't like it, Fabien.
  6. Honestly I’d prefer it if Aiden did. Thank you Lobachevsky, very cool! Bevasue he’s scum, duh
  7. Daniel, we have read (except for Justin) and we have come to different conclusions. That is because humans are not perfectly logical thinkers and, even if we were, we evidently have different axioms when it comes to mafia than you do. And yeah @Aiden Leon get the fuck in here and tell us about Vincent’s PMs
  8. Ah, well they'res your problem. I'm here to have a good time and laugh over some jokes and figure out who the scum are along the way. Imagine if David Beckham got on his toddlers' case over strategy during five-a-side in the back garden . Just stop it. You're harshing my mellow.
  9. Yes, and I'll continue to say it. I'm not coordinating with Vincent or Aiden, I'm just sick of hearing about it. I think you're obsessive, and you're far less logical than you think you are. Less Spock and more Data when he learned to have emotions. What tip is this? This might be interesting. The lack of counterclaim is good enough for me so far, though it would be better (*cough* @Alex Howe *cough*) to have a little more info. Not today, thanks, I'd rather lynch Joshua. Robert wasn't a haughty asshole. Which is unfortunate for us now.
  10. Duly noted. Would you like to vote for anyone then? It's called playing chicken, dude. And if you're so concerned about who may have received Vincent's CC, I have the following proposal: Daniel explicitly confirms that the sequence of messages from the second page of this thread is complete and accurate; Whoever Vincent copied the messages to: hands up and again confirm that the messages supplied by our tubist are complete and accurate. FFS, scum win games by lynching quiet people because they love to be scrutinized by everyone who's left. Of course. Why didn't I think of that? I'll just take my vote off you so you can sail happily into the sunset. If you were paying even the slightest bit of attention, if we believe Daniel is town then we can believe the following: How would Daniel get concrete information about Vincent if (a) he's not talked to anyone in PM besides Vincent and (b) his night action has nothing to do with Vincent? Which reminds me... @Alex Howe would you like to respond to Daniels stated night action? I know there's lots of text going around, but Joshua is singularly not paying attention while pretending to contribute. This sets him apart and makes me feel even more comfortable with my vote on him.
  11. >thinks people who post concisely are town >does not post concisely >pikachu.jpg
  12. I just find you really fucking annoying, that's all. I don't actually think you're scummy. Actually this is really interesting, because announcing confident townreads is Andrew's strategy. This is the first actually scummy thing I think you've said all game. Go the fuck ahead, see if I care.
  13. You are unnecessarily splitting hairs in an attempt to feel superior. And I'm perfectly capable of sitting back and thinking without running my mouth in thread, and it was through that process I have come to the conclusion Joshua is scum. You jailed Alex. Therefore he is not the player who killed Remi in the night. No shit. Thanks for your insight, monsieur. Personally I find memes and youtube videos more amusing than self-righteous pamphlets. It's almost as if you're the one who got crucified.
  14. Mon dieu, man, get off that high horse of yours. Engaging in extended shouting matches with members of the garrison is not helpful and I can hardly believe you'd be so full of yourself to think it is. Turns out it didn't take a rambling screed from Aiden and Trenton to convince you to reveal your target last night. Who da thunk? So do you have any suggestions as to who we should lynch today? Or are you going to continue stating the obvious, that Alex probably isn't the scum killer but it's still possible he's scum? Your vote for Aiden seems not to be going anywhere, so who would you vote for if not for Aiden? What? You assert Alex couldn't be a killer, Aiden points out he could actually be a vigilante, and you just say "you're wrong"? Aiden's comment is true. It's less likely that Alex is a vigilante than a scum-bum-chum who just didn't kill last night, but we can't just say he cannot be a vigilante.
  15. I love you Daniel. No counterclaim here. Can you reveal who you targeted last night? Would you please consider voting for Joshua?
  16. While the chips are in the air I exhort everyone to vote for Joshua for being generally scummy, and because the way he flips may shine much light on Andrew & Justin. bonsoir!
  17. Ç'est literally the worst take of the day. You were allowed to say that Joshua isn't important right now, that there are fish plus grands to fry. You were allowed to say "yeah @Joshua Levitt hasn't posted at all today; I found that suspicious yesterday and I continue to find it suspicious today." But you've just gone and said "Daddy please don't hurt me, I'll vote for Joshua if that'll shut you up." The fact that you give not even the slightest merde about Joshua's inactivity today further proves that your votes yesterday were totally meaningless posturing. Nobody else has remarked on this most peculiar vote but I picked up on it right away, especially considering Andrew had the following to say about the ideal day two scum strategy:
  18. I think it's been said already but Why the fuck would you get all buddy-buddy with someone you've castigated in thread? Your oh-so-endearing earnestness reads town but buddying up in the dark of night does not. It's a warning... You don't know who else he's talking to!!!!! Word of this might get out!!!! If you're town you don't kill him and if you're scum you definitely don't Apparently you are able to see this from your point of view but not from his. He won't kill you because he doesn't know who you're talking to. You won't kill him because you don't know who he's talking to. Is it me or is it solipsistic in here? it u @Daniel Lucas
  19. I want to point out that when I say you've got your knickers in a "twist", I mean not that you are twisting someone's words but rather that you are freaking out over nothing. Thing is, he thinks the same as you: that the other guy could be a scum. It's equivialent. Neither you nor he knows whom the other could be informing in PM, so getting rid of the perceived threat with a kill would look fishy. It's pushing the kings real close on the board to see who blinks first.
  20. I understood this from context clues, but it might be harder for someone with les pommes-de-terre for brains. @Daniel Lucas it's mutually assured destruction. Doesn't really matter who does it first. You both seemed to have played like strong townies and responded like strong scummos not take the bait. Or maybe neither of you has a kill action Cease twisting thine knickers.
  21. Denis, Denis, avec tes yeux si bleus, I feel so lonely! Nobody talked to me last night except for the giraffe. His name ç'est Harvey. For every Tweedledum and Tweedledee there is a Cheshire Cat who disappears from the fray, grinning all the while. And, по-моему, the biggest grin around here is Joshua's. I picked up on him yesterday: So I want to re-emphasize the reasons Andrew manufactured not to vote for Joshua: Later on he comes and tells us he's confident Vincent & Daniel are town: Interestingly, Tweedledee returns to opine that he agrees with Andrew. Anyway. Makes me think Andrew is doing his very best to bring just a little (but not to much) attention to Joshua. On to today. I mean, if you PMed me you wouldn't find me butchering the French language behind closed doors; I only get off when other people can watch. This concern is pretty much nothing. I did. And Vincent found Andrew and Justin's votes suspicious well after he remarked that there wasn't much to go on. I agree with Vincent that you seem to have got your knickers in a twist, but your earnestness does appeal to me Quoting PMs is a party foul, dude. You don't trust anyone so you won't PM anyone, but you pull together some post-hoc justification for contacting Vincent? Sounds like bullshit. I mean, yeah???? You threatened him not to kill you, and he dared you to kill him. You could easily both be town, or one of you could easily be a clever mindgame-playing scum. Aside from this Vincent-Daniel bullshit, I am extremely perturbed by the Andrew-Joshua dynamic (or, rather, the deliberate lack of dynamic). Vote: Joshua Levitt
  22. ??? Let's poast more club bangers. My turn:
  23. And this feels un petit peu rich since this is your first substantive contribution to the discussion all day. If you'd bothered to read what I wrote around 12 hours ago, you'd have noticed that I'm not interested in poke-votes for people who are apparently AWOL, which is prima facie not a bad thing, but rather I am curious about this procedure of voting for inactive people in such a calculatedly offhand way. That's why Andrew's coin flip and "hurr durr Alex comes first alphabetically" comments absolutely reek, and it seems to me like he's trying to find a vote that sticks and get people to latch on to it. Oh dear! I feel faint! This overwrought reaction is "to much". You mean like night action results spilled to the thread? No thanks, mate. Doesn't mean we shouldn't try to root out scum, though. Have your votes for Michael and Alex brought them out of the woodwork? No, we've just talked about other things of our own volition. And if your goal is to encourage people to vote, then why restrict yourself to low-activity players? Why not vote for the Wizard of Oz, for all the impact you're making here? Your votes for Michael and Alex are literally meaningless and they stand in contrast to your very careful yet "Lel I am le RANDOM! look! a SpOrK" methods of choosing them in particular. Makes me wonder if there's another reason you're not voting for Joshua... This tedious series of posts by Laurent is leaving a nasty residue about my mouth... And it's making me think my vote for Justin is presently misplaced. Unvote: Justin Reynaud Vote: Andrew Laurent
  24. Monsieur Remi gave me une petit merde over my reasoning for voting for Justin, but j'observe it again so let me explain more fully. It appears to me there is an effort to spread votes among the less active members of notre garrison. Andrew in particular has placed two poke votes, first for Michael with this rationale for picking Michael over Joshua: And now he's voted for Alex, citing (among others) this reason for choosing Alex over anyone else: It's like Andrew is going through the motions of "being concerned" over inactivity while making his choices in a characteristically inconsequential fashion — and to me this smells of making up reasons to vote for a townie over someone else. After all, if his vote contributes to the lynch of a townie, he can just say "well shucks they weren't very inactive anyway and besides the alphabet told me to do it." Andrew isn't the only member of the Professionally Concerned Due Diligence Brigade — let me take you back to the post that prompted my vote for Justin: It's like it hardly matters at all who actually gets the votes as long as Andrew and Justin raise a little rabble over this notion of inactivity and opportunistically cast the votes around. And Andrew provided almost the exact same reason to justify his vote for Alex: like wtf, make up your own mind. Vote like it's important. Stop being so goddamn performative about it. And actually Vincent already remarked on it, but Tweedledum and Tweedledee Andrew and Justin had essentially the exact same thing to say about a day one lynch: Cut this bullshit Dupond et Dupont clown show. Stop writing like high schoolers equipped with Wikipedia and a thesaurus. Vote for someone you actually think is scummy. Sacre bleu!
