  1. I got inspired by two bricks moc, and decided to mod my 75257 using some of his ideas. I may continue with mods, but any more work and it's really going to be its own set. list of mods: hull redesigned: uses ball and socket joints instead of hinges and slides forward and back in two parts (instead of 6); cockpit can fit 4 minifigs; cockpit moved forward and out to fix gap; a little bit of greebling; modified landing gear for wall mounting
  2. I really like the detail on the inside of your ship, I'm going to take some inspiration from your mods.
  3. I was inspired by the 'ultimate system scale' millennium falcon. The MOC uses ball hinges so that the hull can bend to form a more round some, but still leaves minimal gaps between plates. And since the hull plates bend down, they fit more closely where they meet the wings. I also moved the cockpit out one stud and completely remade the top hull between the cockpit and mandible so the front sides match now and that joint isn't nearly as flimsy. I also added some surface details. What do you all think? I haven't decided what to do next. http://imgur.com/a/8yQQsRA
