Does anyone know if Lucius' torso in the manor set is new or if it's a reuse?

I agree, I'm hoping we get a new character that ties into QQS, maybe a Cormac or Katie Bell or Alicia Spinnett. WWW included Romilda Vane, and Ollivanders included Madam Malkin, so Lego has included an exclusive character in each of the first 2 smaller diagon alley sets. Hopefully the trend continues.

Does anybody know which/who's wands are appearing in the new ollivanders? I'm not much of a wand expert, only one I can discern is lucius'.

I think the red and green capes on display in the new Madam Malkins may be a reference to the same 2 capes in 4719 quality quidditch supplies which came out in 2003.

I've been placing my chocolate frog cards throughout the castle, places like inside chests, behind the mirror of erised (that's where flamel goes) etc. Its a lot of fun to moc up and makes the interiors feel more magical. 1×2 panel pieces work great for this.

Just curious as I'm having a tough time deciding, do people prefer the CoS Tom Riddle or the book exclusive Tom Riddle? Thanks:)

Certainly understand why some would be dissapointed with the decision to make a chess set instead of the normal minifig scale play sets (which are my favorite as well) but I'm actually really looking forward to this one. Big fan of chess and of course Harry Potter so I'm excited. Especially for a fair price.

You're right, I'll change my expectations to anywhere from the 27th to 29th. 2 days closer!:)

Sets have been officially revealed on the last Thursday of April for the past 2 years now. I have no insider information but I'm expecting the same this year which would mean an April 29th official reveal.

I personally think the quidditch accessory pack is very exciting. It'll be way easier to complete full quidditch teams now, especially for Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw. I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe last years students pack had 3 new prints; the ravenclaw torso (slightly different since the 1st was from a CMF) chos faceprint (double-sided for the 1st time) and of course the open marauders map. So hopefully we can get a few new prints this year, ideally face prints. Either way very exciting to me especially for being so cheap.

I actually prefer that head as well. One of the few reused face prints that I like in the HP wave.

On his Instagram stories, Lego fan and moc designer builtbycalvin (he made the huge basilisk moc) shared a picture of the official Lego instagram account commenting on his post from today. His post was day 3 of this years advent calendar (mini durmstrang ship) and Lego commented "It's always a good time when the sons of Durmstrang show up to the Yule Ball!" I could be reaching and this could be nothing, but this did feel like a "wink-wink" from Lego.

I will now spend my entire life savings to get multiples of the ravenclaw and hufflepuff quidditch torsos. These interiors are amazing.

Once Gringotts is released (the chances for next year have to be very high) theres a chance many who are disappointed with its exclusion may end up being glad the d2c focused on more obscure shops because when Gringotts is included it will look that much better :)

Just some educated guesses on when we could get a diagon alley reveal, the privet drive sticker sheet leaked 6 days before the sets were revealed. If diagon alley followed the same pattern (big if I know) then the reveal would be on Wednesday the 12th. I believe our first pair of leaked figures from a set this year was Bellatrix and fenrir, they leaked 36(!) Days before the set reveal. The harry and florean figures leaked around July 14/15 and 36 days from those dates would be August 19/20. Both the 12th and 19th are Wednesdays. It may not matter much but the d2c hogwarts castle was revealed on a Wednesday. I'd apologize for the long post but we're near 500 pages :) also good chance my guesses are wrong so take it with a grain of salt :)

No Gringotts all but confirms a gringotts escape set next year. The chances are very high at the least. Edit: that's if Gringotts isn't included.

For me some of the new faceprints in the CMF will be must haves. Bellatrix and Ginny are big upgrades over the ones we got in the sets and it will be nice to have other expressions for the trio especially since we didnt get exclusive faceprints in the new wave for any of them. Getting Fred and George faceprints that are easy to get multiples of will be nice because even if they are included in DA it would be really expensive to get multiples.

Maybe this is just me but the more I look at CMF2 the more i really like it. I would've loved characters like rita, pomfrey and ootp tonks but what we got is fantastic and the accessories are 10/10 for me.

After the CMF and diagon alley are revealed that'll be 3 full years of the HP reboot. Is this the best 3 year stretch any Lego theme has had or have other themes had better runs? Personally I think these 3 years are as good as any but I'm curious what everyone else thinks.

Just built the burrow and the entire build is masterclass imo. One of the best Harry Potter sets Lego has made.
