Why aren’t we talking about the leaked madam hooch and gold quirrell/Voldemort figure? Did I miss the discussion or are they fake?

Countwise I agree with you, but I would not pay 120€ for a building with the size of the clocktower with 4 Minifigures - but maybe I need more pictures to really get the size :) As there seem to be connection holes at both sides of the alley I can imagine the GWP being the entrance wall to the Diagon alley with the leaked Harry Minifigure

I love it, but I must admit that I think it is way too expensive - even for LEGO. You practically get one shop segment + 3-4 Minifigures for every 100€ you pay. They look more like 80€ sets to me but with less Minifigures ...

I still remember that my first Set when I was ten years old was the forbidden corridor and it was perfect! You get the trio right away and an amazing Fluffy. I still think this was the best set of the very first wave. After that I got Hagrids Hut wich was also a really good set. I remember building other buildings with that triangle-baseplate construction because I really liked it. :)

all of the other names most probably refer to minifigures and we will definitely not getting a Günther the violent Minifigure :D It might be a clue for Quality Quidditch Supplies in DA, but to be honest I think this is really just a random name with G. I didn’t see the dog, but the book is already existing from the first Harry Potter wave in 2001

In no way does it have anything to do with Günther the violent, who is - even for the biggest Harry Potter fans - pretty unknown :D I think the most suitable explanation is, that it refers to Tom, because of Günther the Barkeeper in „friends“.

There is definitely no one called Günther in the German version (besides Günther the violent). the German voice actors of Fred/George and Bellatrix have a „Günther“ in their name. if Kingnono is German, I would guess it refers to Fred. If he is not - I have absolutely no idea. maybe it’s just a joke as he starts with „just some random names with G“ and the first one is random for real.

It’s probably just me, but is anyone else confused with the stairs in the privet drive set? :D I totally get why they did it like that, but for total accuracy they should be on the other side so that you can see the stairs if you enter the front door. When I see the cupboard under the stairs my first thought is always „somethings wrong“ as it have to be on the left side when looking at the stairs, not ok the right side :D

Hey together! I just want to share my thoughts on these new sets! I‘m absolutely amazed by the builds - especially the AT and the burrow! I knew that I would not like Grawp, but they did better than I expected. What I don’t like so much about this wave are the Minifigures. I feel like the wrong figures are overly detailed, while others lack of detailing. Wich figures are really detailed: umbridge - great figure, but there already is a great umbridge figure Hermione and Luna in their Dresses - we have so many variants of them and with the clock tower it was something new with the Yule ball theme and the Yule ball is an iconic scene while the slug Party just feels like they didn’t knew what to do New, so they repeated this „party theme“. Dobby - quite the same like the CMF one on the other hand, we have got important figures, that not existed in this wave before like Tonks, Bellatrix, Molly, Ginny, etc. That are not very detailed or disappointing because the last version was better (Bellatrix). And I mean Molly looks just really really bad. In my Opinion (and I know a lot of you think otherwise) I would have preferred if they used the budget for more detailed figures and a bit less for centaurs and patroni (?) - but that’s just my opinion :) all in all really great sets with a bit too much variants of existing characters and a bit less new Charakters or variants of Charakters that did not appeared that much in the last waves. P.s. I don’t know Why But I really like that Hedwig! :D

I think it will be the same size, but more accurate and detailed. I‘m sure LEGO knows how important the burrow is to the HP fans and will improve the last one. :)

I think they can’t do that with Bellatrix because then, the normal set figure releases before the CMF one and everybody will bei disappointed that the CMF figure has got a reused faceprint. besides that, we shouldn’t even have known by now or by the Set release that there will be a Bellatrix CMF figure.

I think it’s most likely Xenophilius. I‘m not 100% sure but isn’t Ron calling him a coward or a betrayer? the first character that comes to my mind when talking about betrayal ist wormtail - but I just don’t think they will do another version. As the LEGO designers are so in love with Luna it just have to be her father ? Another thing I thought about is that Regulus Black only appeared in a picture wich could be the reason that there is no quote for him. But I think it’s really unlikely.

That’s interesting. I‘m a bit confused that we are getting leaks for a rumored august set before leaks of the first wave. Could it be, that Bellatrix and Fenrir are included in the AT set? I must admit that I‘m a bit disappointed with the figures. I think Fenrir is okay. I like that he has printed legs, but I like the torso print of the old version more. It’s just a more detailled and „stronger“ print. The face print is good, but I liked the lighter facial hair more. The Luna Figure is good. I like that they included her chain and the only thing I would change from the torso print is that I would have loved it if they would have done a better transition from the jumper to the arms with a print. (I hope you understand what I mean.) And the leg size thing is really annoying. the Bellatrix figure is a huge disappointment for me - the reused faceprint and the Not printed skirt piece are really lazy and I don’t really like it. But that’s probably because the old figure was just so good. All in all I think the Minifigures from 2010/2011 were pretty perfect, so it’s hard to do them any better (I just brought Arthur and Molly for a really good price). What I really like about the reboot is the accuracy of the Minifigures. The only figure I didn’t like was the new viktor Krum ... and now Bellatrix.

It was me. The guy who first leaked the privet drive set wrote under that post „there is also a new Hedwig with spread wings“ and I thought he meant in the privet drive set, but when we later got the information about the brick built Hedwig I reconsider he meant that instead of a small mould in the privet drive set.

I’ve just seen the new baby Yoda figure and I think with wings and antennas it could really work as a pixie! the size would be a bit too big, but I think that size is neccessary for the details. hopefully we‘ll get some pictures of HP sets from the NY Toy fair!

As I read, they are just testing in that store, how the customers react to it. If someone takes a box, they‘ll do an interview with them, but you can‘t really purchase them. It’s kind of a marketing test and if the customer’s reactions are positive they might release these LED-kits. So for now, it’s not a leak - just an interesting move from LEGO. I like them though :)

I did not wanted to say that I wouldn’t love a grimmauld place set. I just don’t think it could be the rumored 99$ set, because they will likely make it as a really small set/advent calendar or like an exclusive set for collectors/die hard Harry Potter fans for at least 200$. I don’t believe it’s possible to make a statisfying set for less and I also don’t think they would make a playset for children for that price. - but in conclusion, all I wanted to say is that it’s more likely that the 99$ set is the burrow.

Yes, that’s what I mean. either a small set or an advent calendar with a lot of small Christmas builds, kreacher, a well dressed Sirius, etc.

I can definitely see them doing a set with a tent, snape‘s patronus and the gryffindor sword for DH1. And for the rumored 99.99.- set I think (and hope) it’s the burrow. I would love to have a grimmauld place set but it’s just not Characteristic enough for a lego set. Even I, a big big Harry Potter fan, could not tell right now how the outside of grimmauld place exactly looks like. the only way I see them doing a grimmauld place set is without the exterieur - so just a table, fireplace and Kreacher with a few other Minifigures, but not the whole building. If they do a whole grimmauld place set they need to do it right and big enough for around 199,99€.

I‘m pretty sure there will be a playfeature with letters flying down the chimney!

I would definitely prefer that! If there’s one thing I‘m a bit disappointed with the reboot of LEGO Harry Potter it’s the lack of Weasleys! I mean we are in the third wave, the movies 1-6 are covered, but still only Ron? In general I had a bit higher expectations about new Minifigures/Characters in this wave. The new ones we get are the Dursley’s, centaurs (wich are not important to me) and lavender brown but some of the more important characters like Bellatrix, Lucius, all the Weasleys, Professor Sprout, Tonks and Kingsley are still missing. I really hope they do small changes like Fred and George in the privet drive set or otherwise I hope for the CMF to cover these Gaps :) I‘m so exited for the first pictures of the new sets!
