How is it greed? It is supply and demand. Bricks are $1,000 if you use a sorting service (which gathering and sorting bricks isn’t something that is worth my time) and the instructions are impossible to find. The instructions were almost $250 with shipping in the first place and they have been sold out for years. How many were made? Who knows, but not many. Simple supply and demand. It might be worth $2k for to have a limited set Starbricks set and to have it now for some collectors. Marko always said it was going to be a limited edition. I am sorry but it is no different than a condo in Switzerland or a flat in London or a stars wars first edition MILF (only they made boat loads of them). Collecting just isn’t for everyone and I am sure you can find another set that makes economical sense for you. For the rest of us, we will put our money where our mouth is and watch our collection go up in value over time. That is part of the fun of building.

I don’t have to sell it, this is just an offer to sell as several people on this sight are looking. Marko isn’t making anymore so how much is it really worth? I don’t think that is to far off as I saw one go for a similar price on facebook and it was gone in within a couple of hours.

I have the U set of instructions and all the LEGO parts. I don’t necessarily want to sell them, but if someone wants to give me $2k plus shipping shoot me a PM to subcontractmanager@hotmail.com.

42110 - Land Rover Defender
NMbricks replied to 1gor's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Hey guys, I am just getting ready to build mine. I was wondering if anyone had a suggestion for a set of BFG tires to fit on the original rims? I just can’t see this rig with a winch and then a set of street tires sitting on display. Cheers, Andrew -
Awesome, thanks for sharing

Thank you all for the warm welcome. Yes, we saw episode IX when it first came out and then spent the rest of Christmas watching the rest of them with my daughter. Next in line are the animated series. I hope Disney + comes out for the rest of the world quickly. It is a great deal.

It is beyond me why anyone would support the cheap Chinese knock offs. They are stealing from the creators design and it is flat out wrong. The MOC creators deserve the credit and a return on their time. $20, $50 or even $100 for a set of plans hardly pays for the creators time. The higher the price they get, the more likely they are to build more projects as it pays for their long hours of design time and the more cool projects you get to build. If Disney shuts down MOC creations (which they could) they would be stupid as it is a creative outlet that encourages more people to buy all the rest of their products and to be honest such a small niche it isn’t worth their time. I am sure their attorneys are more worried about the Chinese junk (copyright infringement toys) that has to cost them $100s of millions a year. It is not only economic fraud, but it is costing lives when this crap gets used in the construction of buildings and vehicles. Fake bolts sheer and parts bust because they are not built to withstand tolerances falsely advertised. I will get off my soap box, but nothing pisses me off more than seeing creators/designers getting screwed because the Chinese government ( China is were the vast majority of this stuff is coming from) won’t enforce copyright laws. I for one will do anything I can to support the creators and use real LEGO product whenever possible. Andrew

I recently purchased the TS Project (Mirkos design) set from Brick Moon. I don’t have a lot of time to chase parts and I enjoy building much more than searching for parts so his service is exactly what I am looking for. Sebastian is a great communicator and I couldn’t be happier with his product. I am trying to figure out which set will be next ? Cheers, Andrew
