  1. Thanks for hosting!! Go scum.
  2. Nancy's the inventor. She at least can give out trackers. Watch your back, Traveler. If you do the additional on tonight's scroll, we'll be in touch.
  3. An attitude that's made us zero progress in three days. In a situation this small, it is pretty much inevitable there are going to be scum having vote in any given lynch. That doesn't mean we should swim around like fish with our heads cut off and not even attempt to secure an actual lynch every day. It's not out of the question, but given we were explicitly told the kill becomes a recruit when targeting the traitor, I think the lack of a kill is doubly worrisome. I think (at least, I sure freakin' hope) that if we had a blocker, we'd have gotten word about who the blocker targeted last night by now. That would give us a really solid scum candidate. Given that nobody's spoken up to this effect, I don't think we were lucky enough for this to be the case here. I'm aware. I worry without a little decisive action the voting phase is going to spiral into votes flying every direction and us getting nowhere, for the third day in a row. I know that this isn't the ideal way to go about voting, but we've been talking about voting for two days. I think it's high time we started getting some answers. The lack of a kill is either a momentary reprieve or, more likely in my mind, the scum adding to their team. Either way, I'm not content to sit around waiting for an investigator or something to send good news down the grapevine while we're getting picked off. If we get that news, spectacular. If we don't, I don't want to have nothing to analyze.
  4. Vote: Eeyara for all the reasons I stated yesterday.
  5. Well, that's concerning. No kill is great, but there's a pretty good possibility the scum and the traitor have made contact. That was...quick. Gonna assume some sort of correlation between these two things. I'll just lay this out now: I intend on voting for Eeyara unless a damn good reason pops up for someone else. I'm tired of dealing with the same candidates we've been dealing with for two days now. Anyone else want to make their intentions known before voting actually rolls around?
  6. I'm going to have to agree with Cadd and Zandder, I can't believe this is even getting mentioned... More sound advice. That's a really terrible reason to vote for somebody, Norrio. If your accusation is that Marwyyn doesn't have any substance behind her being vocal or that she's just trying to look helpful while spitting out a bunch of fluff, sure. But "she's talking a lot" isn't good enough. That's generally more of a town read, in my book. Now, I've posted a brief analysis of Ronnan's suspicions, however thing. My takeaway is that he seemed suspect of Eeyara. Looking at her sole contribution today... ...I can see why he had that opinion. She seems pretty certain that he was a random kill. I agree that we can't glean awful lot of the reasoning behind his being the target, but I can't imagine they're just pulling names out of a hat. He was one of the most quiet people here. I don't think it's a coincidence he got targeted; the background is where PRs and scum like to hover, generally speaking. Is this a bit assumptuous, maybe; but it's better than disregarding all other possibilities. The rest of this is just fluff, with a lot more dangerous assumptions than that. You seem convinced we have a vig. Why? You had zero reservations about stating your mind yesterday. Why so quiet today? Because it seems to me like you realized your over-enthusiasm nearly got you on the chopping block yesterday, and now you're crawling under a rock to avoid drawing attention. It sounds more like self-preservation than anything, and it's such a 180 from yesterday I can't help but find it suspicious. Vote: Eeyara. I'm open to changing that if it'll actually get us somewhere today. *however thin
  7. A pretty reasonable take. The odds a successful block/protect, assuming we have those, seem lower than the odds of the scum just getting lucky and targeting the traitor. Assuming recall traitor and kill are mutually exclusive. Assuming they even have the former role. This is what happens without a day one lynch. There's a whole lot less to go off of. If Ronnan was targeted for fear of being a PR because of his silence, then I guess it has the side effect of leaving us with very little to analyze of him. Seems fine with discussing the scroll and third party situation. Araveea was indeed pretty talkative yesterday. Calls out Eeyara for flipping all over the place, and does actually raise a decent point about Eeyara's hypocrisy over bandwagons. Tells Scabowee to calm down with analysis until we have confirmed alignments, and corrects Zandder's miscount. It's not a lot. He didn't seem like Eeyara's biggest fan - though he did refrain from actually voting for her.
  8. So...you don't like the quick bandwagons on these individuals, but you agree with the voters that they're acting suspiciously? Are you suggesting the scum are voting for eachother, or what? That doesn't gel with your collusion suggestion from earlier. Tameekys' got her head screwed on right. I would honestly prefer a lynch to not, because it gives us much more to work with, but somehow I'm in the minority here about that. I can't claim to have been staying super abreast of the arguments here, I've been busy the last few days, but I just want to say that I'm a bit confused about this exchange here. Marwyyn, are you serious about your suggestion about Cadd? Luxxon seems to think you're dodging that statement, but it looks to me like you're leaning right into it?? Is it simply that Luxxon thinks it suspicious, and you do not? I think the answer here is 'to recruit the traitor', but I guess this would be part of it. Truthfully, I don't think a traitor would dare risk their neck trying to get reads and contact scum this early, so I think your suggestion about Cadd is pretty off. Is it enough to change my vote? I'm not sure. I think it's a bit naive of you to think the traitor would hint this early. But it's not a terribly common role, so I'm prepared more to chalk that up to inexperience, personally. It doesn't leave me with a whole lot of suspicions, but even if it did, I don't think we have the numbers to actually land a majority today. I find the suggestion of a no-lynch inherently suspicious, but I guess paranoia about the weird set-up is dominant over fears of not getting anywhere. I suppose we'll be relying on night actions for a lead tomorrow. But if we don't get one, we cannot afford to float the idea of a no-lynch again. We'll have to suck it up and analyze what we've got.
  9. No offense, but a quick vote might just be a quick vote. Or an easy bandwagon. Or whatever. This doesn't seem like a particularly useful observation, and suggesting that scum would collude this blatantly this early on seems unlikely. But I'd be up for a deeper analysis, or a vote, or something. Dropping this sentence and leaving isn't helping anyone. But I guess it could also be another one of these. New game type or no, I don't think we're magically going to get leads just because we have what seems like a weird third party.
  10. Sorry for my sardine-ss, I'm here now. Anyone? Eh? How is this even a question? You act like we could be in a better position tomorrow. The odds of that are pretty low compared to the odds of a Gorgon killing an Oceanide and us being no more well-informed than we are now. The least we can do is lynch somebody for some analysis tomorrow. Why do you want to help the Traveler so much? You realize they're not on our side, right? I think it's time we quit worrying about the Traveler and start worrying about the Gorgons. For the time being, I'll vote: Araveea.
  11. Coralaaze here; are you all ready to get schooled?
