Philohome's detailed write ups on the motors is fantastic. I never thought I'd find that sort of detail on the net, it's just hat last step of seeing the insides that I'm interested in at the moment.

Hi, I was wondering if anyone had pictures or knows where I can get pictures of what is inside a Lego PF Train Motor? I'm very interested to see what's inside them but don't want to start damaging my own motors if someone else has already done it. Thanks, LiveItNerd
