Blerg, I made a mistake. Sorry, Geoffrey. I’m still voting for you due to you showing up at Pattricks, though.
-
Geoffrey being caught trying to do something to Pattrick last night is the most suspicious thing currently going on. The fact he hasn’t claimed anything yet to my knowledge makes this more confounding. Vote: Geoffrey Hey, Tariq, how’s it going?
-
You’re acting fairly aggressive, Ogden over something that’s been discussed. Just so it’s clear, though: Nigel was confirmed town to me by Jack, who he investigated night two with a one-shot ability I gave him. I handed Nigel a protection ability last night. He claims to have not used it. I cannot tell you if he did use it or not, as it’s not in my power to know. I am in agreement on your first point. We have a sort of WIFOM situation, as we have two likely scenarios taking place: 1. Individuals are fake claiming roles. 2. We are in the middle of Role Madness. I felt like there wasn’t much to discuss and since I had Nigel confirmed as town, I decided to hand him a vest to protect someone. I also had other obligations going on. I hadn’t confirmed whether Nigel had used it or not, and since I wasn’t sure if you had confronted Nigel about him turning town, didn’t want to approach him. Seeing as how I didn’t know he was Jailer, I handed him a role and assumed he would use it. As for Malcolm, I have no knowledge that would make me believe that Malcolm cannot be scum. You came to me asking who I was suspicious of. I said Louisa. You then told me in private that you had a counter claim to Louisa’s. So if you believe in Nigel’s claim, why are you dismissing the information he stated regarding me handing him a protection vest? Why would a loyal townie lie about that, and where did that vest come from? No one died last night, and no one else has counterclaimed me. Why are you voting for me when there’s enough evidence to back my claim as inventor, Pattrick?
-
I would assume so. A doctor can protect scum and an investigator can target scum too, I believe I unintentionally can hand these items off to scum. No. I do not get the information that is received through the use of my devices. I merely hand things out. Seeing as how I cannot hand out the same invention twice in a row, no. I did hand Jack an investigation ability night 2, which he used on Nigel, and I handed Nigel a protection ability since I had been told he was cleared, but not that he was a jailer. There are a bunch of power role claims, which is highly curious, and irregular. It’s not unheard of, these “role madness” scenarios, but I’m not one hundred percent sure we’re in one of those. Give me a bit, as I’m getting something clarified.
-
I actually do not know how this situation would work, if I’m being honest. Nigel was alignment confirmed to me in private but not role claimed. I handed him a protection do-hickey thinking he could put it to good use. I cannot pass out the same device two nights in a row. I didn’t hand anything out night one: I didn’t have a good read on anyone at the time. Nigel? Did you protect someone last night? If so, who?
-
There’s the possibility that the jailer is in place instead of a doctor, as they fill similar roles. However, we won’t get far theorizing who is and isn’t still in play. Interesting that Geoffrey was seen lurking around Patrick’s cell. I’d like to hear him claim his role, and soon. Oi! I make the bird puns around here, Malcolm! Quit your squawking! I can’t comment on how you feel about the possibility behind me being the odd man out on a hunch you have, but I was by no means quiet yesterday. I pushed Louisa on her claim, and was in private discussions with a number of people, namely Pattrick and Jack. I also know who the inventor is, and can further confirm that what Jack is saying is true: he did get a one-shot ability and used it to investigate Nigel. I also know that Nigel was given a one-shot ability, and used it to protect someone after Nigel was cleared. Who Nigel protected, I’m not sure. I know this because I am the inventor. So, why are you pushing for my lynch, Joseph? There was no scum on the Pinkerton wagon day one.
-
The issue is there’s actually a third option. The scum targeted Bathilomew and couldn’t kill him because he was jailed. Seems we have an interesting situation on our hands. I’m still not 100% sure Louisa’s a pirate, but we now have something to work off of. I agree with the need for a lynch. If anyone’s getting the plank, Barty seems like a decent option. He’s come up a few times and the jailing of him leading to no night kill is curious enough to not overlook. Vote: Barty Brewster

What evidence do you have to back up such a claim? As I see it, this is a poor attempt to divert attention off of you and onto something else. True, but all of your assumptions have been that an imperial is counter claiming a pirate, and not a pirate counterclaiming an imperial, which puts more risk onto the scum team being found out. You said this yourself! You also said you’re not for mid-lynchings, yet you felt the Remy vote was initially suspicious Day 2, before deciding it was alright by the end of the day. What changed your mind? Also, Patrick, who did the blocker you are in contact with block? I don’t believe this has come up, has it? If Louisa isn’t the blocker, and didn’t block Timothy, who did your blocker block?
-
Sorry, I meant to say I agree with your assessments, yours and Malcom’s, regarding Louisa and Nigel. It’s good to know someone blocked an Imperial kill last night, but I feel like we can’t get distracted by following “what if” scenarios. There’s a number of potential solutions to this mystery, but it’s a mystery that tends to not help us find moles in general discussion as without a claim there’s nothing to back the speculation up,
-
I’m in agreement with Malcolm and Jack’s sentiment regarding Nigel and Louisa. My personal top suspect is Louisa, especially after her flip floppiness yesterday regarding Remy’s lynch.
-
I’ve heard murmurs of individuals not voting. Let me make some clear: I will vote for you if you do not vote. Withholding your vote is intentionally hiding your opinion from loyal pirates. It’s top tier scummy behaviour. As much as I advocated for Chapman, and I will admit I find him suspicious still, I’d prefer to vote towards something that’s going somewhere. Louisa’s also made some weird statements in my mind. You voted for Remy yesterday but you seemingly question the votes on him today. I’m curious as to why yesterdays heat continuing through today makes you reconsider him? Vote: Louisa I’m willing to vote for Remy to secure a lynch and get somewhere today, but I’m pretty suspicious of Louisa at this point. There’s a big discrepancy between not posting and low post count, Bartholomew.
-
You’re tearing me apart, Finch. Let me put it like this. If you’re not voting, you’re withholding your vote for a reason, usually to bandwagon. Voting early means you have to speak your mind and join in the conversation. I see these as being pro-town traits. A loyal pirate should want to voice their opinion through a vote as soon as they can.
-
Alright, everyone, confession time. If we’re going to get through this, we need to be honest, and that starts with me coming open about something. I’m a furry AND a pirate. Deal with it. As interesting as the Remy situation is, I’m interested in knowing who people are hedging their votes on. I’m currently eyeing Chapman. He hasn’t done anything too productive yet, besides quote our murdered comrade, and his reasoning for voting for Bartholomew seem a little off, personally. “Low post count” on day 1 isn’t anything too suspicious, as there’s not a lot to go off of. I don’t know, in my mind we’re still on day 1, now with two dead confirmed loyal pirates.
-
Advocating for a no-lynch is, in my opinion, scummy. The scum are guaranteed a night kill of a pirate loyalist in most scenarios. A loyal pirates ability to combat that is to vote and lynch. To advocate against that is, in my opinion, playing into the hands of the scum. Not saying everyone advocating for it is scum, but I tend to be more suspicious of people who do so. Furries? On this pirate ship? Where? Is there a reason you can think of to withhold your vote that is pro-town, Finch? I’d love to hear it. Also, I never stated I wanted people to lead, merely to vote early. We AAAARRGH? Huh. Never thought of us as being scummy by our nature. I mean- hello, fellow humans! What great weather we’re having! No lunch?
-
Just because voting is avoidable doesn’t mean it should be. Anyone who is looking to avoid voting should rightfully draw the ire of pirate loyalists. Making someone walk the plank is the pirates best method of rooting out these traitorous imperial scum bums. And I disagree with the notion that these votes are wasteful. In fact, they’re quite telling. As you said yourself, voting early is pro-town. Anyone withholding their vote is doing so for a reason. I don’t believe I was questioning Triggs decision to vote for Remy, but rather his initial statement, but I can see now that perhaps I mistook the context of Triggs’ statement.
