There a very few options at this stage. I'm going to vote: Jack Alden I think Jack and Louisa are the last remaining scum. I'm assuming the last scum will inherit the kill right?
-
Yes, I can confirm I was blocked last night hence my action not going through. I think Jack and Louisa could be scum. Night 6 Triggs said he was unsuccessful. There are few ways of explaining this other than Triggs was blocked by Louisa. Unless Jack is a commuter and left the town that night. I agree. And I definitely don’t think Louisa and Joe can be scum together. Because if Joe is scum, then that would make Malcom scum. Which would make 5 scum in total. So not a balanced game. That said, I know I’m not scum. If you lynch me the town has lost. All they need to do after that is kill one more person and they’ve won. But how do we know Louisa would actually go and do that? We still have no eveidence she blocked Joesph on Night 6 like she claimed she did. If you two are scum it would be an easy way to ensure the scum got a kill last night.
-
I can assure you I am not scum. You keep saying you blocked Joesph yet we have no evidence to back that claim up. I am standing up for what I believe in. I have a stronger inkling that Louisa is scum over Jack. And if we lynch the wrong player we’ve lost. Minor suspicion? You blocked me for three nights straight. Even when you knew and then I confirmed my role.
-
My best guess is Jack. I know I’m town and it’s not me. I know it’s not you and for reasons stated above I assume it’s not Joesph. I feel Henry has also proven himself to be Town after he made a solid case against Geoffrey. Which leaves Jack. But then who blocked Triggs last night? His result was unsuccessful and we all jumped to the conclusion it was a block. Are there any other reasons why a Jailkeeper would receive an unsuccessful result? Could Jack have some kind of commuter role that allowed him to leave the town at night?
-
I think Malcom is town. If Malcom was scum, then logically Joesph would also be (the presumably last) scum. But if you really blocked Joesph like you said you did then who killed Nigel last night? And more to the point, who blocked Triggs? Two scum actions went through last night, a kill and a block. And I don’t think Joesph could have carried out two night actions at once, and I don’t think there are 5 scum in this game. So for that reason I think Joesph is town.
-
Thats true. Forgot that you were blocked last night. In which case yes, Louisa is our best choice for today. Unvote: Joesph Finch Vote: Louisa Hammond
-
Surely they could be godfathers though. Since the godfather investigates as town. That said, I don’t think it is Henry since he has proven himself to be town. If we are assuming Joesph is scum, then it’s safe to assume Malcom is scum. And that Malcom was a JOAT who blocked Thomas on Night 4 and then used the Janitor action on himself when he was lynched. That’s the theory I buy the most at this point. Vote: Joesph Finch
-
But you blocked me on Night 4. The same night Thomas was blocked. If we assume it was a JOAT that targeted Thomas then it can’t be me because I can’t be blocked AND carry out a night action on the same night. If I was scum (which I’m not). Then I would’ve either killed Nigel or blocked him. And neither of those things happened. What other useful action could I have performed on Nigel that doesn’t have a physical effect? I did protect him that night for clarity.
-
Argggg! Such a shame we lost two loyal pirates last night. Thomas flipping town means his claim about being blocked Night 4 was true. Now that’s interesting. We know that there were two blocks on Night 4. One on me, one on Thomas. We know that Louisa targeted me and presumably a scum JOAT targeted Thomas. A Jack of all Trades has one shot abilities. So once the block was used on Thomas, it couldn’t have been used again. Which means that Hammond was probably the one who blocked Triggs last night. @Patrick Triggs did Hammond know in advance that you were going to target Jack last night?
-
According to the logs, a JOAT can have any one shot abilities. And since a Janitor is usually and X shot role anyway, I don't see why not.
-
Out of the options we have now, Thomas is the best choice. His claim of being blocked yesterday could be true if the scum had some kind of JOAT role. But I'm not sure. I don't think Louisa and Jack can both be scum given how keen she is too lynch him today. I'm far more confident that Louisa is town than Jack. Vote: Thomas Chapman
-
That’s true. But do we know if a Janitor can self target? Surely you can’t “clear up” your own body. For that reason, I’m more inclined to believe Malcom was town. If we assume there are 4 scum in the game, then the final one would have to be the scum killer. So no one would have been able to Janitor him. Nigel watched himself and saw me target him. So I couldn’t have performed two night actions in one night.
-
A Janitor would make a lot of sense. If Malcom is scum. Then there would have to be at least 5 scum since Joesph was blocked last night. Now Thomas said he was allegedly blocked on Night 4. And we know it wasn’t Louisa or Triggs. Last night Louisa claimed to have blocked Joesph and Triggs targeted Thomas. No one else appears to have been blocked tonight other than Thomas and Joesph. So it wouldn’t be too much of a stretch too say that Malcom had the scum blocking ability and targeted Thomas on Night 4. Which would possible leave Joesph as the Godfather. Which would explain why there was no kill last night since he was blocked by Louisa.
-
A quick check in the log journals tells me there’s a variation of the Godfather who is investigation immune. Meaning (I presume) an investigator will get no result on them. The issue here, is that Joesph has been investigated as Town. And I highly doubt there are TWO godfathers in one game. Maybe the scum blocker is x-shot? Which would explain why we haven’t had any evidence of a scum blocker up until now.
-
But even if the scum blocker did target you and Joesph. That only accounts for two of the three nights. Once the majority of the roles became public on Day Three, the scum blocker would have no reason to target a mason or a vanilla player. But so far none of the PR roles have said they've been blocked. (Other than Thomas today of course). It does seem convienet that Jack was blocked on the night he was meant to investigate Malcom. I think the lynch today is crucial as it will determine who we focus on tomorrow. Vote: Malcom Langley
