Kuddo's to you if you can create a somewhat minifigere sized Astronomy Tower for £60, there is no way they could pull that off. You do know the Astronomy Tower is the largest structure (in terms of height at least) in Hogwarts right? Which means, if we take the Marble Staircase Tower from the GH set as a scale-example, it has to be at least 4 or 5 floors (not even including the roof). Besides that each floor and the platform on top would need interiors/decoration and knowing lego they would also want to add a small piece of Hogwarts to the side of the tower. I could easily see the Astronomy Tower going for ~100$

So after building Expecto Patronum, Hagrid's Hut and the Clocktower and incorporating them into my Hogwarts display I have some things to say regarding these sets. - Expecto Patronum is a nice little set, though the angle of the build kinda limits the amount of places you can fit it in. Not a big deal though. - Hagrid's Hut is definetely a bit larger than I had imagined it, which is ofcourse a good thing! But this set is definetely overpriced, I got it with a 15% discount and I'd say the price I paid for the set is pretty reasonable. I would definetely not recommend buying it at retail price! - The Clock Tower is suprisingly complex and a bit smaller than I imagined, Though the connecting points for other sets are always appreciated I hope lego will leave the straight line configuration for what it is and provide some more interesting shapes. Especially as there is a lot of open space at the back which could be filled in instead of making Hogwarts wider and wider.

They could do something similair to the Stranger Things D2C reveal. Slowly tease it and only reveal it on the day it comes out, though I've gotta admit I wasn't a fan of that strategy. I'd like to know what I'm buying, especially when it comes to a D2C set. -

So apparantly the print on the new churro head for Spidey is very poorly done, anybody here who has the figure and can confirm/debunk this? -

We know the price and piece count and we know Ian Malcolm (open shirt), Dennis Nedry (raincoat), John Hammond and Ray Arnold are included -
So I'm now dusting off my entire Hogwarts display (which is a huge pain in the megablocks). Do you guys have any suggestions/tips to keep dust to a minimal?

No need to make a new mold for such an a very minor thing, it's only on screen for maybe 30 seconds

I think we can pretty much count on the theme to continue till at least 2021. If they'd do that they would be able to produce sets for all remaining HP movies and the new FB movie (OotP/HBP in 2020, DH1/DH2/FB3 in 2021). After that it would depend on how well the theme does but we do know last years' wave did really well -
That's one hell of a tongue twister

Not trying to be offensive or anything but there wasn't much to ''call'', if they were to give us Baby Voldy this is the only existing piece that'd make sense Falconfan posted it on Instagram (info, not a picture)

The T-Rex Breakout is can't be a D2C on its own, more like a 90-100$ set -

1. That wouldn't really make sense 2. That wouldn't take 3000+ pieces (not as an official set at least) -
That's exactly what I meant. Never really thought about the branches as a play feature, I honestly just saw it as a design flaw

I think the chances of the Marauders Map popping up in some set are pretty high, but I don't really see the Monster Book of Monsters being included anytime soon

Willow, easily

And the worst thing about that is how 50 euro equals 56 dollars, meaning we have to pay 26 dollars more than the US

Found this Brachiosaurus on Ideas, gotta say it looks pretty damn good but I don't know how I'd feel about some dinosaurs being molded and others being brickbuilt. -
I know its one of the most common complaints when it comes to lego but that doesn't take away they very often cheap out on figures
-
What's next? They don't approve adults running around in bat costumes?

I've said it before and I'll say it again. LEGO is probably not going to use some of the franchises' best/most iconic scenes in a D2C set, doesn't make any sense from a business perspective. I'd say Nedry with his explorer is guaranteed, otherwise they wouldn't have used his raincoat outfit for the figure. The rest is up for speculation but I still think (and hope) the Visitor Center is the most likely. But I guess we'll see soon, I could very well be wrong
