  1. Something else that might have something to do with my disliking of these Square Enix sets (ignoring how poorly designed they are): we get bombarded with sets for a game a ton of people aren't interested in yet Spider-Man PS4, the best selling superhero game of all time and beloved by many, only gets a single SDCC figure most of us can't even get. I get it's availability may be somewhat of a problem given it's a PS4 exclusive but I would gladly spend a few hundred euros on getting some of those Spider-suits and the Sinister 6 (the game designs are awesome). They could easily do 20+ sets on that game if they wanted to, there's sourcematerial enough: Spidey (many different suits), MJ, Miles, Ock, Rhino, Electro, Shocker, Vulture, Mr Negative, Scorpion, Hammerhead, Silver Sable, Norman Osborn, Tombstone, Yuri etc.
  2. Everyone here (or at least most people) know and fully realise these sets are made for kids first and foremost but that doesn't mean we can't dislike poorly designed sets. It's just a matter of personal taste and opinions I honestly don't mind the crap we're getting this year though, saves me a lot of money
  3. It's a retailer exclusive LEGO has a large selection of skeletons, zombies and ghosts. Given that and the fact HP is targeted at an older agegroup I'd say the Inferi are definetely possible She's pretty much a book character with a few film appearances (nothing special though)
  4. They probably did it to get parents to buy it for their kids Most AFOLS have more than enough pieces to replace those head and hairpieces
  5. I'm kinda torn on polybags. It's great to get more characters through them but they're really hard to find here
  6. Same thoughts here but I guess if you replace the arms you could use it for a custom Red Guardian
  7. That's my whole point, if I think it counts as a Sattler head it is exactly that for me. Idc what is ''factually correct'' in this case. But we should probably move on from this before we force the mods onto ourselves
  8. Releasedates so close to each other don't mean anything. The Ant-Man/Firefly helmet first appeard on Firefly but was clearly designed for Ant-Man who came in a set later
  9. Where'd you get that from? It's still 40 according to Landino
  10. I don't want to argue nor am I annoyed, I'm just saying it counts as a Sattler head in my opinion. Last time I checked I could decide for myself what I thought about certain things. If you don't agree with me that's fine but my opinion is my opnion
  11. I said I think it counts as Sattler's head, I didn't say it is Sattler's head
  12. I know it's not exactly the same as Ellie but that face with different expressions was used for Fleur's Carriage figure, which was later reused for Phoebe. Imo that still counts as an Ellie Sattler head (especially considering the alternate expression just SCREAMS Jurassic Park more than anything else)
  13. It's a very nice pack. The figures in their entirety aren't anything to write home about but let's be real here: the only thing that trully matters is getting more Slytherin/Hufflepuff/Ravenclaw torsos. Ignoring the torso's Harry and Draco are whatever, I'll rip off their heads as soon as I get them. Cho's new face is great and while I don't really like the faceprint for Hannah as it's also used by Fleur Delacour it's at least a new character. The shelf isn't anything to write home about but the MM printed tile is beautifull. I'll definetely get at least one, maybe two Look at her alternate face, it's definetely Cho It was probably chosen because the Hannah Abbot looks similar to Phoebe Buffay from Friends who also uses the Ellie Sattler head
  14. Mixed feelings about the pack. Black Widow is great and, while I don't like them, the AIM soldiers at least provide some good parts. Falcon is very well designed and detailed but I'm just not a fan of that costume, we'll see wether or not I'll pick this up.
  15. It's not a false listing, Amazon screws up with listings all the time
  16. The only good sets we've gotten this year are the BW set and the CM polybag imo Imo there's more than enough trailers and gameplay available to judge wether or not the game is good or bad
  17. Because Marvel 2020 so far has been nothing more than a huge letdown (excluding the BW set) and the majority of the people here don't like the new game. Given all Avengers sets are based on/inspired by the game there's a good chance this HoA add-on is as well. And people are also annoyed at this set for basically ruining our chances at a FatWS set
  18. Technically (as far as I remember) they just confirmed that leak was fake based on the reputation of the 'leaker', they didn't outright say it couldn't be a Death Star
  19. Doubt it, LEGO is known for reusing figures but they wouldn't release a normal-sized set without at least 1 new figure
  20. While I do agree there should be more teachers in the Hogwarts set I'm happy they're not. If we got characters like Sprout and Pomfrey in the normal sets they would probably be underdetailed and hard to recognize because they lack their proper headpiece. There are no current molds they can use to properly represent Sprout and Pomfreys hair/hat imo so the CMF was definetely the way to go. The interior is very much a hotchpotch of a lot of rooms/things but the building itself is kind of a mix of the Viaduct Courtyard and the Bell Towers (at least that's what it looks like to me)
  21. That would be a great selection but as it's something we would like to have I highly doubt it's happening
  22. A few $30 Marvel sets had 4 figures but the majority had 3
  23. At least we got 2 new versions of him
  24. I honestly thought LEGO pretending like we hadn't already seen those sets a month ago was hilarious
  25. Anywhere between today and May 31st I guess, LEGO proved with Monkie Kid they're not afraid of revealing things the day before release
