Just to be completely clear, but there is no special gift with purchase coming out for Rivendell? Is the Frodo and Gollum the only things we are getting? if so, kind of a bummer for those of us who detest brickheads.

Is that an armoury with all new weapons and a new STING??? I love how they made pieces to look like the hobbits are sitting! Those pictures of possible future designs look awesome!

I definitely would not buy the set if it is microscale. I do not have $500 extra dollars lying around for something that is just a display piece. I need something that will double over as a display piece and something I can get down and play with. I am sure some people can play with mini mini figures, but I am not amongst them.

I would rather just have the pictures released... Really like the joke tho

When do y'all think we will start seeing leaks for these sets? I just noticed that leaks for avatar and (i think) a couple other themes just came out.

I just find it really hard to believe that Lego is coming out with brick heads and a humongous set. Brickheads are far from popular, and most people pass on them that I know. Plus, a $500 set which most people cannot afford. It seems like Lego doesn't want this theme to sell well.

I think a really cool set would be Erebor too. Get all of the dwarves + smaug + Bilbo would be really cool. Especially with all of their armor. Could even throw in some of the battle of five armies too!

So I guess we are getting an Aragorn and Arwen brickhead now too

What if its a giant $500 build of the Tree of Gondor. Maybe on each branch is a different scene or character or artifact?

What if the D2C set is just a giant Boromir (like the harry potter and hermione buildable figures) where you can have removable arrows! Or a giant Mouth of Sauron with removable head!

I am so hoping for either Bag End, Helm's Deep, Tower of Orthanc or Barad Dur!

Where do yall find all the customs? I follow Jl.bricks and I love his sets, but I do not see where everyone sees the Hogwarts and minifigure mocs. Can someone point me in the right direction?

I am thinking the same thing! LOL! I would love for it to be a great set that I would love to buy, but my wallet is begging for it to be crappy. EIther way the money will be going to lego in some way, shape, or form.

I really love this idea! That would be such a cool way to interpret it. I do not know if lego would do 2 buildable creatures in one wave, but I think I would buy both of these sets cuz Fawkes is a great creature/character and the pixies are cute and mischievous. I hope you are right about it.

I think i will just use the tom Riddle from the book in this set and make the new Tom Riddle into a random slytherin student.

Since this year's sets are basically a total let down, I am looking for a Gringotts to finish off my collection. Does anyone have any suggestions? I have found the one on Aliexpress and its pretty cool.

I am super disappointed by the chess set personally. I would have much preferred the Gringotts. Oh well...

Do you guys think that maybe these preliminary pictures will be different from the final sets? I know there was a difference between the Great Hall at one of the fairs and the final product. If so, what do you think will be different?

how much are we gonna have to spend for the GWP? I already bought all of the sets and I do not have anywhere to put duplicate sets.

Are there any characters that had been made in the former waves of sets that have not been made again in the new waves? I know Peeves is an obvious answer, but I wasnt sure if there were any others.

I will probably pick up all 4 sets. I will take out some of the classroom pieces and throw them into my Hogwarts classrooms. I will probably keep the rest together so i can keep the books together, cuz they are pretty interesting. As to the characters, I will just switch the heads and bodies around just like I always do with my extras.
