Good teamwork from your LUG. I Love the details and the building techniques. LEGO World 2014 in Copenhagen brings good things watching the pictures. My 12 points go to Denmark.

Ofcourse a 6-wide monorail works. I can remember someone from the forum has combined the monorail and the tram. Monorail rules ofcourse !
-
Excellent this new train!Looks like a real Thalys / TGV. Hopefully extra powerfunctions to create extra speed!
-
I have followed the discussion about the whole monorail and the new PF-monorail. Besides that the cost benefit picture seems also a point. Is it not better when TLG produces for example a set with one train, one station, 4 minifigures and 4 straight parts and 4 curves? A reasonable price would be around €100. With additional tracks as an expansion. The airport shuttle was very expensive at that time because of the high amount of parts. I think TLG can sell less for more in this case. I am not an engineer but what would the costs be of that so called mold? At the long term re introducing the monorail as suggested above would seem profitable to me.

Very nice and inspiring lay out. I saw some movies on youtube from your layout about one year ago.

Very nice!I hope it was not your task to put all the trees back.
-
I have built a train tunnel and two of our three cats could glide through the tunnel. They both did it with respect to the layout.

Banana Wagon Respect for the people who have invented this.
-
I will make some better pictures tomorrow. I have also constructed the banana wagon from Railbricks. Total costs of the two were about 50 euro in total. Considering that this is a good price value ratio. I hope this picture gives a better view. I hope this picture gives a better view. brickshelf EDIT: Last three posts merged. -TheBrickster

Hello everybody, Today all my parts from Bricklink have arrived. Apart from a few modifications, I have constructed the orange juice tanker. Simply lovin it.

Good and inspirational integration of harbour and train sets!I wished for the container loading crane. I do not want to pay the Jack Pot on Bricklink for this set. Maybe time for a train and harbour contest on Eurobricks?I am also trying to build a harbour/train layout. The town of Brickdam is inspired by Rotterdam. Enough said time for action.

What's a Better Engine, Red or Yellow Cargo?
Monorailrulez replied to Paul B Technic's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Definitely the yellow train. Good price-quality ratio. One of the better Lego freight trains of the last year. In the Netherlands it costs only 130 euro's compared to the red freight train for 140 euro's. And the yellow one looks a little bit like the Dutch trains. -
Opening a LEGO store, one question first...
Monorailrulez replied to Diggydoes's topic in General LEGO Discussion
You could better open a webshop to avoid overhead costs as for example building rent. The smaller toyshops in the Netherlands are disappearing. Afterwards you can try to open a physical shop. A Lego store in Delft, near to Rotterdam sells besides Lego also computers. You can try to sell other products besides Lego. Do you have a business model about the profits? You have to sell a lot Lego to be profitable. But all the best! -
I can use the buffer. Good job!

Hello my name is Wiebe, I am 32 years old and I from the Netherlands. I restarted my lego hobby this year. My name is monorailrulez because it simply does. When I was 7 years old I got for my birthday the 7735 freight train. I have sold most of my 12 volt rails and strated with RC trains. Currently I am building a new city of Brickdam. Hopefully I can provide pictures soon!
