I agree, it could work as a pretty neat alternate variation of Yule Ball Harry without the outer robes. All you would have to do is give him black medium legs and the new hairpiece. His face printing is perfectly fine

If I remember correctly from @TheRandomBlocker‘s report, we’re finally getting a version with both sections of the Hut, but the downside is that it’s all open in the back like the Hogwarts sections last year. I don’t know if he mentioned it it was more rounded or not
-
Stan looks good, nothing super exciting but a solid minifigure. I honestly love that we’re getting all these Yule Ball minifigs. I always thought if we ever got them it would be in a CMF series but didn’t even have much hope for that so I’m very pleasantly surprised to get all these Yule Ball variants of characters

Jurassic World 2019 - Rumours, Speculation & Discussion

I know my opinion on this is unpopular, but I have to say I very much prefer molded creatures and animals. I understand the argument of “it doesn’t really feel like Lego” but I think they just look so much better molded. Brick built creatures tend not to look organic enough. For example, I preferred the Castle dragons over the Vikings dragons (even though those were classic and that theme was fantastic). I really like how realistic they can make the Dino molds. But I would definitely love the T-Rex skeleton, that would be awesome -
See, to me that looks absolutely nothing like it. The snout is way too different. Just because the snout ends in a tiny beak like point doesn’t mean a bird head would work. The Occamy head is way too narrow in the snout and the beak is way too pronounced. It would make the Horntail look too birdlike. I’m sure they could improve it with good printing but it will still look extremely off. Plus I still say it’s way too small. I think a new mould was very much needed here. Just as much as Buckbeak. I’ll reserve final judgment until I see it but as of right now it’s not sounding very promising to me

Thank you! It’s not even close, I don’t get how everyone is thinking it will actually look good

I would rather have a dragon head with a stud shooter than a bird head

Strongly disagree, I don’t want comic tie-ins at all for these. I want straight up MCU based sets with screen accurate minifigs -

I think they could mould a brachiosaurus and a mosasaur, they don’t have to be to scale by any means. I don’t think it’s unrealistic at all. I wouldn’t expect them all in one wave, that’s why I said by the time the theme ends. Each wave introduces one or two new Dino moulds so I think it could happen over time. Lego knows that dinosaurs are the main draw of Jurassic Park sets -

I hope we at least get a brachiosaurus, it’s too iconic to the film to ignore it. I doubt it’ll happen though. Three Dino’s they need to make before this theme ends are Brachiosaurus, Spinosaurus, and Mosasaur. Next three would be Ankylosaurus, Parasaurolophus, and Stegosaurus. The last three are doubtful tonever happen. But the first three are too iconic to the franchise to just never put into a set -
Last year I planned on waiting to get the D2C until double VIP points but I couldn’t do it, I was weak, and I bought it as soon as my store had it in stock. Phenomenal build, one of my favorites of all time for sure
-
Whether I like the Horntail or not, the set will still be an automatic buy for me just like all of these sets are. It’s too great of a theme to pass on even one set. I do hope the Horntail exceeds my expectations though since that’s what I’ve been looking forward to the most in this wave
-
I hope you’re right. I trust Lego with this theme but there are big let downs like the basilisk, so I do have my doubts. And this is the one creature we’ve all been looking forward to the most, I just want them to do it justice, and from what I’ve heard, it just doesn’t sound like it’s very good. We’ll see for sure once there are pictures but at this point my expectations for this set have kinda plummeted
-
Even if they pull it off by printing it so that the beak doesn’t look so big, it’s still way too small of a head for a Horntail. Obviously I’ll wait to pass final judgment until I’ve seen it but everything I hear about this dragon so far has been extremely disappointing
-
Her upper lip comes to a point at the very tip that curves down but it’s not a beak, at least not like the big beak on that mould. I think the mould would look horrendous and way too small
-
Not to mention the Horntail doesn’t have a beak...I’m really hoping someone mixed something up
-
You mean the Occamy/thunderbird head piece? That wouldn’t make any sense and it would be so tiny. The Horntail doesn’t have a beak...someone must be mistaken, that can’t possibly be right

I just feel like without any new Dino moulds, what’s the point? It’ll hold no appeal for me if it’s lacking Dinos. At that point I’ll just buy the figures on the secondary market and save a ton of money -
Yeah it’s pretty much exactly what we would expect for him. Solid printing but just not super exciting

We’re assuming these leaked figures are from the D2C, correct? And not from other sets? Confirming the D2C is in fact from the original Jurassic Park (which we all guessed anyway). If it is the visitor center then I hope you can somehow connect the Velociraptor Chase set to it. But I honestly hope it’s just a big vague Jurassic Park (the park itself) with several enclosures, scenes, and dinosaurs from the film, including part of the visitor center and the jeep and maybe one or both of the green tour vehicles. I also hope it includes additional prominent figures like Muldoon and Gennaro, maybe even an alternate variant of the characters we got in Velociraptor Chase. Ideally there should be at least two new Dino moulds (in addition to a handful of existing ones) not including the baby Dilophosaurus (my hopes are brachiosaurus and ankylosaurus, although I wouldn’t say no to a parasaurolophus). I know that’s probably expecting way too much but it really shouldn’t be if you ask me. -

I couldn’t care less about interior. I’m not going to play with it, I’m going to display it. As long as the exterior is good, it’s a good set to me. The exterior on this is great, not perfect, but definitely great. I still wish it was a massive UCS set but now I guess that’s never likely to happen. Oh well. It’s much better than the previous one and that one was very nice so it’s definitely a day one purchase for me. -

I would prefer a UCS version but this is a very nice system scale version. The price and piece count are consistent with UCS though which is really weird. I guess if they made a Tantive IV that’s the same size and price point as a Y-Wing they would feel weird calling it UCS. I guess it makes sense... I would still rather have a $300-$400 massive UCS Tantive IV though -

I would love that FO TIE Interceptor but with Kylo’s TIE Silencer and the Interceptor from Resistance, I doubt it will happen. I still want that neat looking TIE from Solo during the Kessel Run.
