Well, that arm-crashing thingy is kinda normal, this set only has half a pneumatic system, the pneumatic system only allows you to 'lift' the arm. For the 'retraction' of the arm, TLC decided to use gravity... All you need to do is release that valve _very_very_ gently ... This is by design, and the best thing about it is, if you don't like it, you change it! That's why it's Lego :)

Well, I recently got the 8421 Crane Truck from the Lego Shop. On Brickshelf you can find many photos of this set, and the building of it, so I decided to try something new ... I'm gonna try filming all the functions of this _very_ great set :) It's gonna take a while, I have my right hand in a cast due to an operation ... Well, i'm done :) It was lot's of fun to build, and went very well (not that there is ever a model that's difficult to build :) ) I like the set very much, that's also why I drove 2 hours to K

I haven't build that far ... but I don't think it has a gearbox ... Just wait till I'm a little further in building it, then you can see for yourself :)

I4m planning to modify my 8448 with parts from the 8366, to make it remote controllable! I saw some photo's from someone who already did this, but I can't find them anymore ... Does someone here knows where they are? (I searched brickshelf, mocpages, lugnet, but couldn't find anything...)

I'm selling one of my 2 sets of the Super Convertible (8448) This set has 6 pieces missing from a total of 1400+ (the model with the wing doors can be constructed, but there are 3 parts of the left door missing) Anyway, these are the pieces that are missing: 1x 32016 red Technic Angle Connector #3 1x 32014 red Technic Angle Connector #6 1x 32062 black Technic Axle 2 Notched 2x 6587 DkGray Technic Axle 3 with Stud 1x 32125 Yellow Technic Rotor 3 Blade with 6 Studs I bought this set for over 160

Now that's not good ... I'd never buy that, Lego can do a whole lot better ... :/
