Yeah, me too actually :-) - these ones seem to be specific to Walmart in the States though - just wondering if they will or have made it up here, as I have yet to see polybags in a Canadian Walmart. The ones in question are:
30213 Lord of the Rings Gandalf
30240 Star Wars Z-95 Headhunter
30161 Batmobile
30254 Razcal's Double-Crosser
30230 Mini Mech
Has any one seen the polybags that are popping up in America Walmarts in any of the Canadian Walmarts? I checked the Walmart closest to me yesterday but didn't find anything. Going to check the next closest one over lunch today.
That's too bad. I've bought a few, but of late (at least at my closest LEGO store), they seemed to mostly consist of old parts off the brick wall, not from actual sets that had been taken apart, so they've been much less interesting.
Great review, thank you - read this a while back and it convinced me to get the set, which I finally got around to building this weekend. It was a fun build and I'm loving it.I'm really tempted to get another to complete the "back" of gate...
My name is Rob, and I've been into LEGO since around the time my son was born... that makes it seven years.
My primary area of interest is probably Castle/LoTR but I also enjoy the Modulars and Trains. My son is into Star Wars.
I've amassed a fairly decent Medieval army the past couple of years as well a pretty large collection of loose bricks.
You can pre-order from TRU in person, they are advertising the Elrond figure on a poster in-store. Haven't seen it on their website yet.
Also to IAmWillGibson, the TRU in Burlington (Dundas St) had a fair number of the Heroica Ganrash bags out in the racks.
