North central Kaliphin is the place for my embassy!!! Great work on the maps NiceMarmot, they look perfect!!! -
Looking good! Like the gate into the mountain side! Your minifigs posing is very nice! Cannons in Historica is very unstable so you might consider to put it away to avoid damages on your soldiers and the fortress Dusting your lego would also be a good idea

Ah! One of my neighbour! Looking forward to see your buildings and figs!! -
Sorry to say that Avalonia is closed for more members for the moment becasuse we have so many members in Avalonia... And I think to build in Albion is only for Avalonias.. But you can join the others guild if you want.

Great idea NiceMarmot! I´m building a embassy that will be located in your great Guild. I realize that most of your cities is located near the coast but are there not any cities/villages in the desert? Execpt for your capital... -
This is very nice done! The differnt heights, the overgrown roof, the hat pieces and heads for vegetables... Really great! The house with the snotted walls and the big rounded corners are also very nice!
-
Have to comment here aswell! Really good tower, like the ballista (is it working?) the door on the ground floor aswell as the liitle buildings in front of the wall! Great job! You are really improving your building skills!
-
That tower is ooking real good!! Like how you have put in the premolded pieces in the wall and managed to make them looking good.. The dark gray tiles on the wall is also very nice!

I totally understand your points and I´m soon going back to work after 6 months of son and father time so soon my time will be very limited as well. But there are still 2 months left to build and as Derfel said, you don´t have to build for every challenge. As for me Lego is my biggest hobby, followed by gardening so when my kid has gone to bed for the night I usually gets one or two evenings alone with my Lego room. On these evenings I really hope to get an ambassy ready.. -
We have 240 days with payment (80 % of your income) each. So for one kid you have 480 days with payment, it´s very nice to have such a long period with your son. But I guess we are a little off topic now

Derfel: Thanks! And yes the intention was to do something with the roof ends but when I added the balcony the studs increased so the number of studs on top was uneven. My next project will be to train to do those kinds of gables cause they look really nice when done right. Z: Well I´m on paternity leave (is that the right name? I´m home with my son since august) so I´ve had the time to do some stuff when my son is sleeping

It just became so much more beautiful! Really like that you extended your tower with the wall! Your colour scheme is spot on and the greenery is so nice!!
-
This is a great watchtower! All the details in just 32x32 is amazing! I like that you used the height and built a solid and long tower with different levels! And the falcons with the prince of persia headgears (don´t know the english word for that) is great!! A great entry!!
-
My next project is a hunter in Benoic so it´s funny that you built one aswell! The stag is really nice and is that your first attempt?! Then I´m curios to see what your second will look like cause this one is brilliant! The one thing that strikes me in this pics are that you are an excellent photographer!!! Great photos! Do you mind if I borrow your stag design for my hunter?
-
Your mocs are just awesome and this one is no execption! The colour scheme is very eyepleasing and the details are just perfect, not to much but still you keep finding new things as you see the pics. The outdoor workplace has to be my favourite! Love that chimney and the little wall going round his workplace! Great job!

Thanks for all the kind comments! Mikey: The reason for having the bricks at the bottom is because I wanted to create some kind of framework to "hold" my round bricks. I thought it would look odd to just have the arches over the window, and also beacause my round bricks came to an end! Z: Yes, right now you and Derfel is my two biggest inspiration. The balcony is slightly borrowed from you and one of your great houses! When looking at my pics now I´ve to agree with you about my door. It´s kind of fun that you don´t realize that before some one points it out. I guess you became "blind" at some point to your own work and I like the critique! As for the second floor to the left, I wanted to something to break up the rather uniform look of the housewall and because I don´t have any black 1x1 brick with stud on one side to put tiles in brown, that is the result. It looked better in my head! Thanks again all!!
-
I´m glad you finished it, cause wow, she is a beauty!!! The dark gray as foundation and the light gray above is really nice! And those windows on the second floor is great!! Edit: my kid woke up so I couldn´t finish my post! Anyway, those lamps is great and I may have to borrow that idea! They look awesome! The sand and dark green middle gives the whole tower a very unique look whick I find great! So after all my long speach... I love it!!!

Of course you can switch heads and hands but for me it´s more about the price... The sets will be more expensive now compared to Legos "own" sets. And to buy a more xpensive set AND to get those ugly fleshies are a thorn in my side! But as I said, there will surely be some good parts coming out of this and I´m problably going to buy a few sets.. I´m dreaming of Rohans riders!
-
So it begins... ( to quote the movie...) I´m not happy over this. I really liked where Kingdoms where heading. To pay more money for ugly fleshies... But I´ve to admit that I´m problably going to buy some set, because this will surely bring new bricks to the world..

Just wonderful! I love the dwarfes making the toys!! Happy Holidays to all of you from de Gothia!

That is a really neat and cosy countryside! Very Avalonian!! The chicken house and the plow is great!!
-
It´s just lovely! All the details that you discover after you seen the pic for a while, like the cheese slopses on tehe ground just before the door. The dinohead is a very funny touch. It fits really well to the whole setting! My favourite part has to be the third floor and the arches bending over the building right under! Great work!
-
Wow! I love it! The gate and the details on top of the gate is wonderful! The roof is so great! Perhaps add windows in all directions so you can watch in all angels from the watchtower?
