Deep in the wood of Avalonia, lay the ancient ruins of a time long gone. The crafty forest thieves of Avalonia have converted the ruins into a hideout. A great build! I pretty much love everything you have going on but the gables. You can see the stair effect of the roof bricks. Everything else is top of the line and better.

The design is so simple but so masterful at the same time! You barely used any pieces making this. I can't get over how good simplicity works in your build. I must say " I'm always trying to go simple but you beat me." Very well done. I hope this is inspiring to builders with smaller collections. I really love it.

@Gabe Thank you, I'm glad you liked it. As far as your nitpicking goes, I never go for realism. I like to go for a more fantasy, tripped out style kind of like John Avon mixed with Mark Tedin.

Ughh! My eye's! There's a Mitgardian moc in our forum! We're allowed to spam others guild's with our build's?

I like about 9/10th of this moc. I personally don't like the studs you left on the walls and black roof. Everything else is really good. The clarity of your photo's is very good. Rarely, I see pics so crystal clear on Eurobricks.

Dude! That's awesome! I like the whole idea you came up with and your art is very nice. That upside down thing you did on the roof design is new to me.

Thanks. I'll eventually make custom roofs as you suggest but I need the parts first. I'm attempting to build an entire village so I really have to stretch my parts for now. I'm glad you like my wall style.

I hate to base my comment off of a quote but I mostly agree with MikeyB. You should put some black bricks in the back so your background doesn't come through your window's. I love the worn out, aged look you achieved on this moc. The roof style is really cool. I might have to borrow that one day. Why doesn't anyone put figs by their window's?

The tower looks good but the hoods don't look good on your soldier's.

There's a thing on the bottom right called "forum legend". It explains the brick in front of every topic.

Thanks. I don't have the largest supply of roof bricks so I usually build my roof's first. So I guess my roof does determine the building design. I personally think it's easier if you build the roof first. I have a couple roofs built, waiting for a home. @ Niku&rouge Thanks! Glad you guys Like it.

Looks good! Great interior and landscaping. I like how you changed the style of your tree's. The spindle looks awesome. I wish I had the pieces to make one. I've also got some series eight.The pretzel guy is awesome! I love that he comes with two plumes. Keep'em coming
