    I’m sure lego would have made more NWH sets if they could. It’s worth noting that no company (hasbro, funko, etc) have released any spoiler toys for NWH, and Lego tends to have a longer production time. So if we are getting more NWH sets, we wouldn’t necessarily know yet.

    I’m pretty happy with that minifig selection. It was more or less what was reported, so it’s not too surprising. I would have liked more characters from MoM, but there were a few that lego probably couldn’t have done yet. I think the Doctor Strange variants are good choices. It would have been nice to get more new characters, but 8/9 (probably) new figures ain’t bad.

    So if the other toys that were just revealed are any indication, the black and gold suit really is from No Way Home after all. which someone has mentioned already, I see..

    Blade’s been bald plenty of times in the comics, so I’m not sure what the big deal is...

    I definitely expect we will. It’s been years since any marvel movie has gone without at least one set, so I’d say it’s a safe bet.

    It’s especially weird because we already got a microscale one as a GWP. How on earth would it be $400?

    I mean, I wouldn’t be surprised if the team that decides what sets get made and the team that decides how to hand out sdcc minifigures aren’t one and the same.

    Well, there was that time they took off the Genie’s earring for the Skrull headpiece.

    Someone listed the set on eBay. The back of the box does indeed show the set with some nice graphics, pretty basic stuff.

    A lot about this set feels more like a collectors item than a play set, like the box art, the seeming lack of play features, the detailed environment and the flight stand for Wonder Woman. I gotta say I dig it. Also, I throw away the boxes so I don’t really care, but I imagine there’s more traditional art on the back?

    It kinda seems that way, but honestly I can’t think of many figures like that recently. A couple civilians, maybe. Not to mention it’s not really a new phenomenon, they were reusing heads already back in 2012.

    Don’t think so. He seems to be based on this jet trooper from Battlefront II.

    It still doesn’t register as a lot to me, and I still don’t see how $1 crosses it over from “pretty expensive” to “insane”. But again, that’s just me. It’s just a matter of opinion.

    $5 vs $4 just doesn’t seem like a huge difference to me. I can’t really see what the big deal is, but that’s just me.

    I really like this series. Some really good variants, like DKR Joker, which I’m SHOCKED we’re getting. A good amount of new characters (none of which are really THAT obscure, not that I’d mind). Some great prints, dual molding, and new molds. As far as the price increase goes, eh, it’s a dollar.

    Ah, but then you wouldn’t be able to have him throwing his hat!

    Because it is a costume. The original Cheetah wasn’t mutated.

    That’s not necessarily true. As we’ve seen with the Thor Ragnarok sets, Lego seems to use earlier concept art then some other companies. It wouldn’t surprise me at all if the Mysterio we got is completely accurate to some concept art they were given. Even with the inaccuracies, it’s a pretty decent figure.

    I could see them revisiting Jurassic Park with a Visitors Center once the next movie comes out. In the meantime, I like this set well enough. I’m just happy to see another Jurassic Park set after the last one. I can’t help but feel that if we had no idea this set was coming before it was announced (like Lego plans), then there would have been a warmer reaction. Oh well.

    Looks like there’s a pumpkin in the back of Hopper’s car. Nice little season 2 reference there.

    Yeah the problem with the movie is that all the things you all are putting in spoiler tags are things lego couldn’t have put in a set.
