Thanks for the welcome, colors based on physical model of the same ship- Santissima Trinidad was similarly colored and a planned work after this. using blocks I have some areas to work in some curves especially the bow. some colors at the stern I am contemplating on changing, as are some of the bricks likely to change. see the other images here: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=473746

thanks for the useful info, will come in handy for my next projects. is there a way to add additional images? so far I see some issues to resize to 800x600 but the site says file size too large. I have several images to show the tumblehome on the ship etc.

Here I have a WIP for a 74 Gun Spanish Vessel named and Inspired by San Juan Nepomuceno later to become HMS San Juan after Trafalgar. I have some other models loaded to Lego site which I may load here later when I can find time. here is a teaser image.
