I'd be interested in the buying the blue coats, at least in small groups if no one else is buying the whole set

So I've been trying to start a navy, but finding the material to make sails is ridiculously annoying. Seeing as I want to print designs on the sails, what material should I use? Or really, what material does LEGO use to make ITS sails???

So are those torsos custom made? or what sets are they from?
