So I was able to swing by the LEGO store and pick up 16 of the new series 6 figs(they wouldn't let me buy more than 16), and I have to say this is the best series yet; I probably say that every time but these figs just keep getting better and better. This little vig utilizes the new aliens as well as the new steak piece that comes with the butcher, I really like how this little scene turned out. What a pleasant surprise it was when I discovered this on the front page today, truly an honor! Thanks for all the comments everyone! I appreciate all the feedback and kind words, I hope to create some more Dino inspired MOC's in the near future. -
REVIEW: 7327 Scorpion Pyramid

Most definitely! In my opinion, it's one of the better sets of 2011. Fun build, great figs and cool playability features. -
MOC: Who's Hunting Who

Thanks, and I wanted it to have a bit of a Sci-Fi feel to it; though I agree that the neon green may have overdone it a bit. This fig is a combination of two of the new figs, but all the new figs are really cool, and useful. Thank You! As soon as I saw these sets I knew I had to put this scene together. Thank You, and I'm not sure if these little guys are technically raptors or not; because I got the Raptor Chase set as well which comes with a larger, much more poseable raptor. Haha, and Thank you! I picked up three of the little impulse sets and the raptor chase set, but there's only 2 raptors in the grass. I definitely plan on making some more dino related MOC's. This is pretty much the one theme I had hoped for as a kid so I'm really excited for this theme. Thank you very much! The green on the Raptors blends perfectly with the grass, definitely makes for a nice camouflage effect. Thank You! I was going for the illusion that the raptors where simultaneously circling the fig from opposite directions. I wanted to use the raptor from the raptor chase set, but I felt it was too big compared to the fig; at least for what I was attempting. The torso is from the 30$ raptor set, it may also come in the triceratops set, not sure though. Haha, Thanks! typing from the phone is definitely a pain! The figs are definitely worth picking up, very useful; and I'd recommend the dinos too, they're better than I expected. Thank you much, glad you like the scene! Haha, never trust a raptor! Glad you liked the glowing plates, I felt they added that little extra sci-fi effect! Thanks! and it's just inspired by JP, the Raptors in the tall glass really freaked me out as a kid so I was stoked to be able to put my own spin on it. It's not an exact scene by any means. Thanks! Glad you noticed the BA Machete, I was torn between the simplicity of the Machete or the more movie authentic M110; but as you can see, the machete won out. -
I was at the mall this weekend when I came across the new Dino sets at the LEGO store, I couldn't help but pick up a few of the impulse sets; they all looked so cool that I would have gotten them all if I had the available funds. So instead I picked up a small cup of grass to go along with a couple of the other smaller sets. This vignette was pretty much inspired by the original Jurassic Park, and I'm pretty happy with how it turned out; especially my blacklight shot. MOC: Day at the Docks
SmoothSexualBrickMaster replied to SmoothSexualBrickMaster's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
Thanks! A clean black background definitely would've helped out here, I think you'll find my most recent blacklight moc more visually appealing. Ha, he's a flexible one; but I don't think his flexibility is gonna save him from this one. -
Just another day at "The Shore" for Zookie & Edok "The Status Quo". The idea popped into my head yesterday and I slowly put the build together as the day went on. I don't always like my builds, but I was pretty happy in the way this one turned out. Thanks for viewing, C&C always appreciated.

Thanks for all the compliments everyone, they're much appreciated! -
It was just another day at the docks, well, that was until a black hole opened up at the bottom of the lake, creating an open portal to an alternate universe hundreds of galaxies away. Jose was not amused. MOC: Royal Assassination
SmoothSexualBrickMaster replied to SmoothSexualBrickMaster's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Thanks for all the kind comments everyone, really means a lot. I've been lurking these parts for a while and finally mustered up enough confidence to post a couple MOC's. So I'm very glad that they're being received well. Thanks again everyone. -
I was inspired to put this MOC together after configuring the dragon assassin minifig, using some sweet BrickWarrior products. The scene depicts one of the Kings Royal guards being assassinated during a routine perimeter check; he never knew what hit him and he never will. MOC: Codename Sidewinder
SmoothSexualBrickMaster replied to SmoothSexualBrickMaster's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Thank you, it was my first waterfall attempt. -
I built this little 16x16 MOC yesterday, it was a rainy day so I was inspired to do make something centered around water. I decided on a waterfall and this is what I came up with. The minifig is a purists nightmare, I went for a jungle mercenary look and I really like how he turned out.
