I think this is a great little creation Jordan. I love the round shape a lot, and the arms with the guns look really cool, IMO. I would love to see a version 2 of this with a skull on the front somehow (to fit in the 3vil theme a little bit more), even if it was really small. I like the open sides...I see this as an atmospheric flyer / oppression machine. Great work.

This is much improved over the original model! I really like the 4 wing design. Great to see more people building MM!

First of all, let me admit I built this a while ago, so some of you may have already seen it. I decided to post it for a few reasons. First of all, I really like the Mars Mission color scheme, and would love to see people build more in the theme. Secondly, I like the idea of building Alternate models, as the parts restrictions for you to come up with some creative solutions. I know it could be a lot better if I didn't limit myself on parts, but I think it came out alright. Also, I think the pinned Mars Mission Index needs some more action. Let me know what you think! 3/4 View: Canopy Opened: Missile Launch mode: Side Profile: Link to flickr P.S...I suppose it's not a true alternate, because I did add an additional minifig...

This is great. The proportions to me seem perfect for Fabuland. Really like the roofline. If by mudguards you mean the fenders, I think they work really well. The wheels also look nice, and the front bumper part is perfect. I don't care for the horn, but it does go with the theme. As far as the wood paneling...is that dark tan? Love that part. Not sure if you tried it, but maybe add a 1x4 tile to the tailgate for paneling as well? I don't know if it would improve it, but it might give the bed a more distinguished look. All around solid work here.

Hi everyone, thought I'd introduce myself over here. I joined a while back but have mostly just been lurking for a bit. I recognize some of you from around the other Lego internet sites, but I'd like to be more involved here as well since many builders I am unfamiliar with call this place home. Thanks for having me. =)

I really like this mech. The colors are great, and overall everything is very cohesive. For whatever reason, I can't help but want the serpent head piece to flip around (with the mouth facing towards the ground). Did you try that?

Wow, thanks! I'm in the US, currently residing in Northern CA. I'm considering Brickworld...trying to see if I can swing it. For sure I'll be at NorthWest BrickCon (maybe just known as BrickCon now) in Seattle.

=) Yeah, the Kestrel is mine. It was a fun build...definitely challenging, to say the least. I think my next build will be Steampunk again...would love to do a big fantasy airship. We'll see... As far as inspiration, I think you did a fantastic job putting together an original work. So many great details, and put together so well. I've been looking over this for a good chunk of my evening...it's just fantastic. off-topic: So, I posted my first MOC here over in the Space area, something I just finished today. Oh, and I added you as a flickr contact the other day, please add me so I can comment on your pics over there. The Kestrel is up over there, as well as my other Steampunk creations...I'll update my signature tonight as well. Thanks again for the kind words, I look forward to commenting and posting my creations here. -

Well, I guess since I've been a member here and lurking for quite a while, I should probably start posting my MOCs here as well. This is my most recent build, a fighter. I could type out a long back-story, but I suppose for now I'll just post my creation. The Geminated Ruby (the picture is the flickr link): Please let me know what you think. Thanks!

So, I'm browsing through your amazing Fabuland builds over on Flickr, and come to find out there's a Fabuland Builders Guild over here. I think look at one of you posts and see a beautiful airship. Then I open the post, and see that you were inspired by my work...that made my day! Overall, this is really, really well done...I've been pouring over the pics for the last hour. Along with Morgan19, I love the shape created by the deep hull and narrow width...almost cartoony but in the best possible way. Of course I love the TIE windows...I like your execution and placement better than mine. The rigging and the sails are also very well done. I do have one tiny bit of feedback, and that is I don't care too much for the top connectors on the engines...just looks a little too flimsy. The bottom ones are great, but I think if you added a little bit more structure to the top ones, it would help the balance a bit. By far one of my favorite MOCs in a long while...you wanna post it to flickr so I can fav it? =) edit: oh...my first post! Even though I joined a while ago...=)
