I can't because I would need to slide it too much in the direction of the arrow and I can't because the red part above the blue one is there to block it.

Hi friends I am having a hard time with step #349 of the Lego 10261, it looks like the yellow part is too long to actually fit without bending the black perpendicular one. Did I do something wrong? Thanks!
