can anybody ID this piece? it has a small rubber piece inside of it and it doesn't say LEGO on it anywhere - but i know for sure it's real lego The color looks like a light gray/ light bluish gray

I bought this on ebay a while ago - the listing claimed it was a "Starwars 30th Anniversity Lego R2D2 - One of Two in the World Released By Lego" It's glued together and seems to be a store display? It's also just a little bigger than the UCS R2D2 set. Does anybody have any info on this? I can't seem to find any. Also, it's pretty yellowed. Is there a good way to clean it without messing anything up? I would like to put the whole thing in a nice bath of hydrogen peroxide and leave it out in the sun for a while, but I'm not sure if that will mess the glue up.
