Hi all, I'm a Thai student currently studying at London UCL undergrad. course. Since I am in the UK and LEGOs are in a reasonable price here ( its about x3 price in Thailand compared to here, god), I decided to come back and collect LEGOs again. And, yes, its to pursue and make my dream of building up my very own lego city come true! Im still ''new'' to LEGO so please guide me. As far as I can remember, I started playing lego when the OG BIONICLE line started back in around 2000 ( if I remember correctly). So my very first ''not so lego brick'' set I own is a green bohrok ( still my fav) which right now probably be in my junk box for no reason . But unfortunately, LEGO group had decided to cancel the line and so I stoped collecting for awhile. I also remember, looooooong time ago I also owned a lego creator 3in1 set where there's a shark model and 2 other sea creatures? ( please tell me the actual set name if known, hahahaha) I also got 1 small 'pirate set' which I cannot remember what its called LOL, only remember there's a blue pirate and parrot. Talking about the actual lego sets, back in around 2008, I came back to play LEGO again and bought my very first SW set Ahsoka's starfighter (coz clone wars were very addictive that time). But as I grow up, I decided to collect modulars in a hope of making a city someday, with Pet shop as my first one. My favorite LEGO set is and still probably be my 2008 death star version! I do not desire to build any MOCs yet due to money and space shortage so.... yeah! But I have seen some of you did some and they are all looking AMAZING!! Apart from lego, my other hobby is playing card fight Vanguard!! And its so hard to find people who play around here. I think this is long enough and is seemed to be quite boring to you all now, so I'll stop right here. + here, its late night already and so I shall go and turn my slumber mode on! Yea! I know right, maybe its not on the US lego web, but the UK's is a sure thing they are going. Unless new sets are coming? If they are gone, I feel very sad for lego again coz its another great theme after all.

Hi, Just curious but I see all of the simpsons line are going 'retiring soon' while the house is already retired. Is this the end of the Simpsons line?

Thanks for replying lol. I think I'll get it soon. I think the US eBay price fluctuates while increasing over time? Whereas in the UK, its just stably increasing over time. I had a second thought, that this set is very unlikely it will get re release? because its from a theme thats already been gone for awhile now. Now I just hope that they don't revamp the set so soon because a similar set is going to come up in the future for sure.

Hi, Im new to this website, so apologies in advance if I did something incorrectly or post in the wrong forum. I have been looking for lego 10228 Haunted house for awhile now but it seems like the price is increasing relentlessly without a doubt. And I think its time for me to make a move before it is off my budget limit. Please could any of you help me decide if 300GBP for this BNISB set as worth it? I have been thinking about this for sometime now, and I do not want miss a chance to grab it just like when the set was suddenly retired a few years ago Thanks for your help
