  1. Hi all, Just wanted to share what I'm working Here is a link to the rest of my .lxf instructions: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=448250
  2. Thank you guys for all your help. It was much appreciated. In the end, I managed to rebuild the model by looking at some WIP screenshots that I had taken. It is back now and as good as new. http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/275855 Thanks again! -Mithryl
  3. Unfortunately, no. Fortunately, I took a few screenshots as I was going, and I have those to go by, at least up to a point. I've rebuilt about 60 or 70% of the model so far. Hopefully I won't lose too much from this (except time). Thanks for looking into that for me. Any idea how that happened in the first place? I'd like to avoid a recurrence in the future. -Mithryl
  4. Sorry about the cross-posting. I'm a bit new here still. Speaking of being a noob--how do you share the file? When I tried to attach it, I got a message saying "You aren't permitted to upload this kind of file". Is there another way? I can upload it to bricklink and then share the link if you want. 5. Oh, the Humanity! I was working on my 00 gundam last night, and was about 75% done the main gundam itself (not including the armaments or alternate forms or upgrades), and then this morning, when I went to open the file, it said "unable to open file". No matter what I do, I keep getting this message. Its so unfair! I don't know if I can even re-create the steps I took to make that model again! Has anyone else had this problem? More to the point, has anyone else managed to recover their work after experiencing this problem? Any advice would be appreciated. I've already tried re-installing the program, and renaming the file, but neither worked.
  6. I'm experiencing a bit of a bizarre problem with trying to open one particular LDD model file of mine. Is this the place to be asking about this or is there a general LDD troubleshooting thread somewhere? Just in case: Here is the problem: I was working with a particular file in LDD4 last night and had no problem opening, saving or working with the file. This morning, when I went to open the file, I got this message: "Unable to open file". There was no loading bar or anything--it went straight to that message. Other than this one file, all my other ones seem to be fine. I'm not having computer glitches or anything either. The only other bizarre thing that I noticed was that the internet connection in my apartment had gone down last night as well--our network crashes all the time around here, but a loss of internet connection is rare. Obviously, since I am writing this now, I have fixed the internet problem, but the problem with LDD remains. I have since tried renaming the file, but this has not worked. I have tried running LDD 4 in safe mode, but this has not worked I have tried re-installing LDD 4, but this has not worked. I have tried uninstalling LDD4 and installing LDD3, but this has not worked I have tried running LDD 3 in safe mode, but this has not worked. I really, really, really want to get this file open, as I spent a lot of time on it and was really happy with how it was going. I have a handful of screenshots of it, but I am not confident that I will be able to re-create my steps just based on those alone. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated! -Mithryl
  7. Hi All, I'm new here, but not new to lego. I'm an active member of Brickshelf, MOCpages and Flickr, but only recently learned of this site. I'm probably best known for my Freedom Gundam model, and am a huge fan of Gundam and lego mecha in general. Here are some links to some of my works. MOCpages: http://www.mocpages.com/home.php/30449 Brickshelf: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?m=solusmaximus Flickr: http://www.flickr.com/photos/phoenixknighttemplar/ For those of you that know me from other pages, glad to see you, and for those of you I don't know, I'm pleased to meet you and look forward to learning from all of you. -Mithryl
