  1. Well yes. Go to www.brickmechs.com. I have additional photos and a writeup of the Atlas.
  2. Don't know what I like more, the aircraft or awesome looking hangar. I think the hanger takes the edge for sheer originality and cleverness.
  3. A simple, but elegant design. Looks rugged enough to send into battle.
  4. Model of the legendary Atlas from Mechwarrior 4.
  5. Not sure why I like this design, but I do. Nice.
  6. Thanks to everyone for your feedback. Yes, I will be building more mechs (probably 100+). I already have over 33 models at Brickmechs. Primus is still working at the LEGO group. I have been recently in contact with him. In fact, he sent me the plans for the Marauder II directly because it is not available for download at BrickCommander. He thinks my goal of building each model on BrickCommander with physical LEGO bricks is overly ambitious, but has been supportive so far. Really nice guy.
  7. Umm, it was "salvaged."
  8. Fantastic. Maybe your friend can help me identify the exact variant of this Marauder model. He can post his thoughts on my site directly. For being over 16 inches tall, it was actually very stable. Was very sad to take it apart (to build other mech models), but it will live on in photos.
  9. Thank you. I love this model, too, but it's not a MOC. It was designed by Primus on MLCad, but has never been built with physical LEGO bricks until now.
  10. Howdy Battletech fans, Check out this model of the Marauder II from Age of Destruction. For additional photos of this model, as well as 33 other mech models, check out www.brickmechs.com or click on my signature.
  11. Haha. They are "related" because I believe both were drawn by the same artist. Battletech used the image, but just changed the name. The company was sued for copyright infringment and can no longer use the image of the "Warhammer" in any of its games, books, etc. They created an inhouse version of the Warhammer and called it an upgrade, but to this day, there are still legal problems associated with the original Warhammer design (as well as other mech designs). I read somewhere this is the reason why Mechwarrior 5 was cancelled. In the future, I will post other variants of the Warhammer, so stay tuned...
  12. Thank you.
  13. Hellow Battletech fans, Here's a pic of a Warhammer from Classic Battletech. For additional photos, please click on signature or link below. http://www.brickmechs.com Forgot to add image
  14. If you like Battletech mechs in LEGO, come back to my site often, because there will literally be hundreds of mechs and vehicles to be posted in the future. I'm building a site just for Battletech and LEGO fans. I will get a forum page up and running in the future, but I have too many mechs to build first!
  15. The joints were 1x4 Technic bricks (with the holes on the side) connected with technic pins. The bricks "scissor" each other, but are stopped from doing so because the other bricks in the upper and lower leg portions keep them from coming together. The joints on the hips are the same. The ankle joints are friction hinges. I actually have a version of the Marauder IIC from AOD which I will be posting in one week. I have the unseen and PHX versions in the works as well. I just wanted to complete other Battletech models before going back to the different Marauder versions.
