  1. Arealight's Mando gear are pretty great, right? I have the Boba set (helm, jetpack, gun, vambraces(, with the UCS Boba legs Torso with printed arms. It really finishes off the character. I really need to get the Vizla figure set and Jango gear pack sometime.
  2. I bought the figure itself from here, helmet included: https://www.bigkidbrix.com/product-page/mandalorian-custom-printed-on-lego-minifigure-star-wars It's currently sold out, and I don't know when they'll restock him.
  3. I really don't see the ability to upgrade the Mando without using custom parts. I have a custom figure I bought a few days ago which has him in the Beskar Steel, although that's custom printed. I still need to get a better cape for him, and for that I'll likely order this custom one from CloneArmyCustoms: Here's my custom printed Mandalorian, with the Arealight Beskar helmet:
  4. So, after getting the last arms I needed for my OT Stormtroopers, I decided to go back to the "drawing board" for a few of my older figures, such as the Shadow Guards and V-Wing pilots. I also decided that I didn't like my Special Forces design so I went and got them some new legs. I changed my Shadow Guards' torsos and legs to that of DT torso and legs, as well as a waist cloth and Black Imperial arms from FST. The V-wing Pilots now use regular Tie pilots' torso and legs to match the shininess of the helmet and face mask. My homebrew Special Forces stormtroopers still use the older ST torso, but with the newer ST legs. I also gave each of them a unique flesh colored head and a set of ST arms from FST, though I don't have any images of the heads atm. I gave my Range Troopers the new Snowtrooper arms, and they look amazing. I always liked the regular figure, but those arms just seal the deal for it. I also got the new Imperial Pistol (I think it's new) seen in The Mandalorian to go with a couple of my troopers, apologies for the semi crappy image at the end. I also included images of my new Heavy Infantry ST and Commander ST to go with all my others.
  5. So FireStarToys just sent me an email, and they got a hell of a lot of new SW minifigure arms. Good lord, now I want to upgrade my army of 40 Death Troopers, 10 Patrols, and 12 Snowtroopers! XD
  6. Yes they are indeed Arealight helmets. I originally planned to do CAC, but the molding design just didn't do it for me. Arealight I've always liked, so I went with them. Needless to say, I'm glad I did. If you're curious about the blaster, it's from BigKidBrixx. I was given a few extra of them with my last order of Death Trooper blasters about a year ago seen here: Kind of an old picture, as I have newer pauldrons from MinifigKat, which have the molded ammo pouches attached.
  7. This is my first design of the purge trooper. Apologies for the delay, work has been killing me lately and I kept forgetting to upload. It's not screen accurate, but it's good enough for me.
  8. So my first set of 10x Stormtrooper arms came in, and...wow. I honestly figured they didn't add enough detail to make it worthwhile, but wow....Now I have to arm the rest of them, so 24 left to go. The last of my black imperial crew arms also came in for my display, though I still need to buy 2 more sets for my Purge troopers. Also for those wondering, I decided to go with DT legs and torso for my current WIP of the purge troopers. Sometime after my next paycheck, I'll look into the helmets and pauldrons.
  9. Damn....300 Stormtroopers. And I thought it would be expensive with 30 or so Stormtroopers XD Edit: I just looked that up, nearly $700 USD. Holy cow.
  10. So has anyone tried out CloneArmyCustom's Snowtrooper backpack with the newer Snowtrooper helmets? I really want to know if they work with the helms. Also what's everyone's general thoughts on the Stormtrooper arms from FST? Are they worth the price? I'm also working on making some Purge troopers, with the upcoming release of Fallen Order, so any suggestions on the torsos would be great. I've already decided that I'll be doing CAC or AL Shadow Airborne helmets for these guys, though I'm leaning more to AL's version, as it looks so much better despite needing a red head for the visor.
  11. I agree to an extent, but the arm really seals the deal, at least for me and for those who love TCW. Also the arm is flat at the arm hole, it's just I took the picture without realizing that it wasn't pushed in all the way. I really hope we get a lego version, like an official version, but I doubt it. And I agree, I really hope they have white sometime so I can give Thrawn his signature stance from Rebels.
  12. Arm behind back is from Crazy Bricks, and unfortunately, they sold out of the black color. However, the upgrade does add a lot to the figure.
  13. That last one would be best IMHO. The only reason I say that is that the second head I have on my Del for Inferno Squad.
  14. I agree, and that's coming from someone who owns both of the new helmets. Overall they look better IMHO, and they will probably improve my rebel army ten-fold, but the ability to cheaply buy the older versions and the nostalgia factor will probably keep me from getting anything other than one of each unique print.
  15. Funny enough, as did I. It wasn't until like last week that I decided to do some in-depth search, and I stumbled across it on a forums. Can't remember which one though.
  16. It's based off District 9's alien assault rifle, if I'm not mistaken. The only thing missing are the mechanical cylinders at the top and the scope. I felt that since I was running low on E-11s thanks to my every growing ST collection, that I'd use these for my special forces figures.
  17. They're just a stand in for when I get more of those guns that's being held on the left by the commander.
  18. Here's something I threw together while working on my Imperial Officers/Stormtroopers: Special Forces Stormtroopers. The clothes all come from Capes4minigs, and the backpacks are from CAC. I also have two others with the same gun as the Commander, though I forgot to include them. Originally, I had design them to be bodyguards for my Chimera bridge build, as seen with the Commander and the blue arms. Then I decided to make the others with just plain (older styled) Imperial armor, and I felt those looked much better IMHO.
  19. I really hope they make a Governor Pryce, even if it's just the torso. I really don't like using Tarkin's torso, as *ahem* something is definitely missing on it. I'd also like to see a Darth Marr or Jacen Solo figure from them. Know what, just make many different Imperial torsos (normal Admirals specifically, and others that Lego seems keen on not making anytime soon). I'd be happy with just that. CBA to pay $20+ to make my Piett move up from Commodore to Admiral.
  20. Just got my FireStarToys Lego custom Thrawn in, and I have to say, replacing the original torso with this was the best choice I've made in awhile when it comes to minifigures. It really just makes the figure feel finished, compared to CAC or the official torso. Now just to buy that Sensei Wu CMF for the printed arms. Also, Commodore Faro from Thrawn: Alliances, and Lt. Commander Vanto from Thrawn(2017).
  21. I have 12 crew officers, so RIP wallet. But my gawd those arms look amazing.
  22. Figured I'd test out Rob's tip for uploading images. You my friend, are a life saver!
  23. I do agree, the reusability of IOD han solo is pretty limited.
  24. Been kinda lurking here for awhile, but seriously, you guys have come up with some really great stuff for SW figures. The main reason I wanted to post this here, was to show you guys the new Imperial Officer Han Solo figure that I got yesterday. The detailing on this one is just, amazing. Not to mention that rain coat design, mhmmm....... My picture file sizes are huge, rip. Here's pics of the back printing and cape removed from torso
