Man this executor looks amazing! And only 7500 pieces????? Currently I'm bricklinking Raskolnikov's star destroyer but this will definitely have to be the next one on the list to build after I'm done with that one. Bravo sir!

Depends what I want to do or how intense I want it to look. For the most part I think I'll get it built first and then decide if I want to make it white or dark or nothing. Who knows at this points. Also, just for the sake of it, I officially have 27% of the pieces now... long way to go lol

The markings on the bottom the "new" chimera look awesome! I'm probably not going to end up trying to put them in the bottom right now and stick with a more classic looking chimera straight out of Heir of the Empire. I might play around in LDD and see how I would go about making the markings, either in a darker color or just by raising it one plates worth. Might be interesting to do that. Thanks!

Would you have any pictures of the actual chimera star destroyer class design? I can't seem to find anything obvious but it sounds awesome! Thanks for the suggestion

In the same boat as other people here. Have ordered a bunch of pieces and looking sometime around the new year at actually getting it built. My favorite star wars character is Thrawn, and the original book series by Timothy Zahn from which he came from. In that regard I'm going to modify the interior slightly to reflect Thrawn's flagship in the book series the Chimera. The only big modification I'm going to make is that the conference room is going to modified into Thrawns personal room with art on display and a command chair. I'll post pictures when I get some pieces in and start looking at getting that section built here in a month or so. If anybody has any suggestions let me know :D
