Thank you both for the warm welcome and helphul hints! I'll check out some techniques sometime. That fishing store is DOPE, too bad it's way beyond my budget. I'm glad lego put up the instructions for free, and they seem to have quite the archive with some real old sets.

Hi everyone! Nice to meet you all. I'm a guy who likes to build stuff occassionally. Been browsing here a while so i hought I'd join this friendly-seeming community and share my creations and see yours :) I don't really have favorite themes as i only ever bought sets for parts and pretty minifigs. Loved mixels. I also have some bionicles and like five Johnny Thunders. Recently i got some nexo/ninjago sets for dope parts and figures. In daily life i study biomedicine. I'd love to start building buildings and houses, anyone got any basic house building tips for a beginner?
