  1. I think a theme with most potential, potential in playability sense and in diverse building sense, but not big market potential outside Western and Eastern Europe, without big marketing expenses, is Asterix. To me that is a perfect licensed theme for Lego. It is perfect because it is so well recognizable in France, Belgium, most of Western Europe and Eastern Europe and brings huge diversity: 1) diversity in mini figures - Asterix, Obelix, Gauls, Ceaser, Cleopatra, Romans, Egyptians, Vikings, Britons, Pirates, wild boars, lions, camels and more 2) diversity in buildings - Gaul village, Roman forts times four, Rome, Britons' village, Goths' village, Roman arena, pyramids, Cleopatra's palace and more 3) diversity in transport - carts, Pirates ship, Roman war ship, merchant ship and more 4) diversity in playing scenarios - Asterix in Britain, Asterix defending his village, Asterix against Roman patrol, Asterix in Egypt, Asterix saving Gauls from Roman arena and more It is also perfect because it is funny and not serious, it offers great playing hours and different builds, plus great humour. It offers small, medium and large sets, even UCS: complete Gaul village or complete Roman arena. It could be a 5 year long theme without problem. And it would not require too much new molds. Do others agree?
