  1. Yeah the violin is made by Brickforge and I believe they're still available on ebay. I'm sure we'll get an official one with the collectible minifigs one of these days...
  2. Just released a new video of the city featuring many new buildings and updated LA skyscrapers!!

  4. Hey guys! Check out my new LEGO City video! The city is inspired by Los Angeles, California (where I'm from), so you'll notice lots of elements that point to LA, such as the beach, the tall palm trees, the freeway, and even some LAPD cars. The LA skyscrapers in my layout are based on the US Bank Tower, AON Center, Gas Company Tower, and Los Angeles City Hall.
  5. Hello everyone! I've finally gotten around to building a replica of Los Angeles City Hall! I will be adding this to the layout along with the Detective's Office and a few other things, so stay tuned! I also have lots of pictures on my Flickr of my layout so check those out! :D Los Angeles City Hall by Jorge Parra Jr., on Flickr Los Angeles City Hall by Jorge Parra Jr., on Flickr
  6. I'm not quite sure what happened. I can still see the images on my computer though. They're the same design as the policeman minifigure from Series 9. All I did was add the LAPD badge. The curved glass part is held by studs in the middle sections and then by the 1x1 Round tiles and sections of blue that go further down into the tower, if that makes any sense.
  7. I've been toying with the idea of adding another table soon. I would love to have running trains, but it's very difficult to incorporate a full loop without the awkwardness you mentioned that comes as a result of the curves.
  8. UPDATED 09/19/2016 Hey guys! This is the current version of my city. It is inspired by Los Angeles, California (where I'm from), so you'll notice lots of elements that point to LA, such as the beach, the tall palm trees, the freeway, and even some LAPD cars. In the past few months, I've added a third 8'x3' table to my layout with lots of new buildings and an airport. I've also added a new LA skyscraper (Wilshire Grand Center) and improved my existing skyscrapers! Enjoy! I'll be posting pics soon!
