  1. I'm not saying it can't be a gingerbread house. I'm just saying that the clues (mentioned on promobricks et al) do not provide new information. All we have are those leaks of gingerbread figures. In that sense: these pictures of the calendar do not give new information in my view.
  2. I have not seen a clue for a gingerbread house, other than the earlier leaks of the figures... Both sites basically show the same thing: a promo calendar with a "to be revealed soon"...
  3. perhaps a Christmas tree shop. I mean, they have those new green treeparts. Perfect to put into a winter village set! And everybody needs a tree...
  4. Depends on where you live. It should be doable when you can keep shipping and duties to an acceptable level.
  5. I thought because it is a set containing two plates. At least that is what I can remember from earlier days when I got baseplates.
  6. Perhabs a new monorail shuttle? That would be awesome! Personally Im a fan of those Creator 3-in-1 houses. This year I did not really like those buildings though... I would like to see a clubhouse for sports like soccer, cricket, field hockey, base ball etc.
  7. Yes, I noticed that on forums as this one. My parents got it for my sister and me after buying some cans of UNOX brand soup. After saving some barcodes, you could buy this set. It must have been around 1983/84. Not much value left though... Plenty of bitemarks, scratches and missing parts. But I still have the instructions.
  8. I think the wind mill might actually work. It is a renewable form of energy as much as LEGO is a renewable toy. It wont fit in my house though, so Im not in the market for this wind mill. As for the value for resellers, collectors etc? All in the game. You cannot blame LEGO for using commercial opportunities. And every investor knows that no investment is without risk...
  9. Of course he knows. But he won't tell until the set is revealed by LEGO. After that he will say he knew all along ;)
  10. Got anything of another ideas then? Or a rumor that this rumor is fase :) It is hear say all over... In the other hand, that's the fun of it :)
  11. Which account is this rumoer coming from BTW? I can not find it, since I have no instagram...
  12. I would really like a rerelease of the cottage! I came out of dark ages just two years ago, so I missed a lot of winter village sets for reasonable prices. I could not find one below 200 euros, but I like the building. There’s always room for another house, next to a 31038, a slightly modified 41323 and a somewhat more modified 31025. I guess I’ll be buying the station this year and the cottage next year.
  13. Check topic title :-). Well, not really ofcourse... I'm from the Netherlands and the first LEGO set I can remember is the 1592. I grew up in the eighties and stopped playing in the early nineties, with a brief rennaissance in the 2000s. Since two years the dark ages have gone: I restarted with DUPLO, (for my daughter of course), but completely fell in love with the Winter Village theme and the Saturn V. So it is time to introduce myself :).
