I did not think that you sounded judgmental at all! To tell the truth, I wondered the same thing myself, but decided to go with it because of the usefulness of Lego's for those of us who simply cannot draw. I happened on the site while looking for public domain pirate pictures (didn't find many that filled the bill near as good as the Legos) and decided to try it. I have been a Lego fan since we started getting them for our kids many years ago. They were great at it, especially #2 son who has gone on to modular origami. I am about as good with the bricks as I am with drawing. (sigh) That, and the fact that I had to use a scanner to get them into the computer is why my use of them is kind of simple. The stuff that some people post here is incredible! Anyway, I will be doing more videos and using Legos in them. And I will be mostly lurking around here. Which brings me to a question. Is there a Sherlock Holmes/Dr Watson Set? (No, I won't post it here). Apologies raf

Yea, sorry about that. I looked through a box with several hundred Legos in it and couldn't find a hook. My son told me later that there never was on with this particular pirate set, which I find surprising, given that it had just about everything else, including doubloons . So I had to fake one. I have since looked up a real one on ebay and will substitute it in the video one of these days. raf
