  1. Another Leia image has surfaced on IG. Alternate face looks good; it's a cocky smirk. The OP has her skirt piece on the wrong way round but at least we can see that the back of it is printed too.
  2. Indeed; thankfully if they wanted to make him accurate to the Rebels art style then they'd have needed a new helmet mold (which we know LEGO is very reluctant to do). Hence, a normal Vader. Makes the set much more versatile. Worth noting that it's not unreasonable to expect a Vader in the Tantive set though, given Antilles' 'oh no I'm being force choked' alternate face print. If so, hopefully he'll have some interesting new printing.
  3. Unfortunately the Vader on Instagram is simply a picture of the Vader that came with the Rebels 'A-wing vs TIE Advanced' set a few years back. The poster of the picture is simply wondering aloud whether he's the one we'll get - no Vader confirmation here, sadly.
  4. Given that the UCS Millennium Falcon contained minifigs from both the Original Trilogy and Sequel Trilogy (which are 30 years apart in-universe), it really wouldn't be too much of a stretch to include characters from RoTS in a Tantive IV set. They wouldn't bother though, as it has little screen time in RoTS. Will be interesting to see which other minifigs the set includes, if any. Perfectly possible, but given that we have leaked images of Captain Antilles and a new Leia, it makes sense for him to be in the Tantive. I'm really hoping for one or two rebel fleet troopers, and it's a longshot but if LEGO included a red shirted version (to look like the 'Rebel Friend' character from the first mission of LEGO Star Wars II) then I would be over the moon <3
  5. A Bail Organa minifig has showed up on Insta :D
  6. Agreed. I understand it's not relevant to everyone, but it's certainly a current issue, and a baffling and annoying one at that.
  7. Correct. At no point was I asked for proof of purchase (my set was purchased off eBay); all they required was my LEGO account details. I simply expressed my disappointment that I did not have the opportunity to have Finch despite purchasing the set, and made sure to be polite and well mannered. That behaviour gets you far with customer support; they deal with some very entitled people sometimes. If it turns out that he ends up in the next advent calendar, then I'll make sure to sell him on eBay before the general public realises :')
  8. Did you buy him off eBay/bricklink?
  9. I got my Finch today too, after the whole fiasco with them sending me Lando's head last week ;) he looks great; the head is nicely detailed and the colours on the helmet are lovely
  10. I see the resemblance, but personally I don't think it is Bail Organa - in the films, his beard and mustache are attached, but this minifig head has a gap inbetween the 'tache and beard. Don't get me wrong, I really want it to be him, but I doubt it.
  11. Is there an image of him floating around? Can't see it on IG
  12. That's a good point; I didn't consider that. Looking at the parts breakdown on Bricks & Pieces shows that indeed every exclusive element for that set is out of stock - including Paige's helmet, and the torso/legs that all of the flight crew use. That opens up the possibility that I could actually end up receiving the correct head and helmet then, and that the item number/names I've been given are simply incorrect.
  13. LEGO store would be your best bet, as then you can check the box art to see if he's listed as the pilot. Note he'll still be called 'Resistance Bomber Pilot' but the graphic will show your boy Finch. Yes, and the instructions manual. Which makes it all the more weird that LEGO would sink the cost of this so late into the production run of a retiring set.
  14. So, an... interesting... update on the Finch Dallow situation. I've just received a confirmation email from LEGO regarding the replacement fig they're shipping, and included are the names and part numbers of the bits that make up the fig. I've looked them up to see if it corresponds with the right parts, and, well it's interesting for sure. It appears that they're shipping me the torso and legs of the pilot (which is the same for all of the bomber crew), Paige's helmet and Lando's face I think the rep I talked to may have taken some liberties when I said that the the proper pilot for the bomber is African American :')
  15. Yeah it's an odd situation - I was originally gonna go through Parts n Bricks but it showed that the Finch parts (or rather any of the unique parts for the set) were out of stock, so that's why I tried my luck with customer support. Unsure on why my rep seemed to find him in stock when others who tried before me had no luck, but who knows. There's always the chance he'll turn up in this years Star Wars advent calendar anyways; they're a good way for LEGO to get rid of their excess stock of random figs.
  16. I had a chat online with LEGO customer service UK yesterday regarding Finch Dallow. They were really helpful, and after checking stock and clarifying that I wanted the updated bomber pilot (Finch himself) the customer service rep told me that I'd receive the fig in the post within 10 days. I have yet to receive a confirmation email, but will keep you guys posted on whether it arrives or not, as others in the UK have been told that LEGO has no Finch Dallows in stock. We'll see what happens! New photos of Vonreg and the Shadowtrooper on IG. Vonreg looks amazing, but sadly has an unprinted black head under his helmet. Not an issue if he never appears helm-less in the series I guess, but I haven't watched enough to confirm that. Shadowtrooper looks great, as the helmet appears to be black with dual molded gunmetal plastic for the visor and mouth - this looks much better than the first image we saw as it appeared the helmet was entirely black with a couple of gunmetal highlights. Really makes the eyes pop out more.
  17. He had the incorrect rank insignia, which I believe was due to LEGO basing him on concept art.
  18. That helmet is a massive upgrade; it was only the other day I was saying LEGO really needed to update the Scout Trooper mould! Not sold on the legs or torso though; another example of where dual-moulding and arm-printing could improve LEGO Star Wars figures so much. I don't understand why these features aren't anywhere near as common in Star Wars sets as they are in Marvel sets.
  19. Was Saw wearing a separate armour piece to represent his breathing apparatus?
  20. I'm curious, what date do the Summer Waves tend to hit stores? I can't remember if last year's was out in time for May 4th
  21. The BB-8 picture also strongly resembles this MOC from YouTube - I think it's the same one. EDIT: I posted at the same time as lomis, looks like he found the culprit
