what do you mean even people like Green Arrow, the Arrow is the man easily the best hero there has been. thats only in my opinion though, wich makes it the truth ;-)

odd i expected more fans of the cats, when i was a wee kid that, transformers and mask were most of the kids favourites. even talking to a lot of mid 20s now its one of the fondest memmories. i still say this is a licsence lego should try for to release along with the movie, if the movie itself drums up some good hype the way transformers has then lego could only stand to make money from a short term lease on the property.

damn i was there too and i wanted to be the first to post pictures of it online. did you get your pic taken with the leia model too she was really quite hot. as for the AT AT though i really liked it, it was a little smaller than i would have liked but it really does look the part, i got to play a bit with the new MTT too and that was pretty sweet. And lastly for anyone who hasnt seen the UCS falcon face to face; my god it really is massive and easily worth the pricetag, the only problem is in a two bedroom flat where will i put it? |-/

Ive just found on imdb that there is a Thundercats movie scheduled for release in 2010! I feel its time to start lobying now that lego get a liscence for this property. Imagine it little lion-o with red exo-force hair, Robears... the Thundertank. And lets not forget the myriad of other characters and vehicles to have turned up in the cartoon and the comic over the years. please god be enthusiastic over this, aside from Lego and Transformers Thundercats is my childhood love and we cant let Megablocks get this one. A completley new, orignal idea!!!

hasbro did actually make theyre own version of lego a few years ago, it was called BTR (built to rule) it was very similar, better than megablocks and you could attach real lego and mini figs to it no problem. they used it to make a line of btr transformers alongside the armada and energon lines, they were ok too but would have been better made by lego. lego do make hasbro property though. look at star wars other than lego hasbro are the only people that mak star wars toys. to find BTR stuff go to www.bigbadtoystore.com. -
kind of like the above stuff there but, a. more detailed, b. bigger, c. not crappy little bi-planes. we do need some good sets in that style. and as for the tanks, Bat tank, mobile defense tank? i agree that they probably wont make it due to the whole no war thing, but that is bending what with star wars and the new guns found in both the star wars and bat man sets.

i made the same mistake initially as did some other people i know. i think its just that we all really wanted the RBR to go with our star destroyers and so we all just read it wrong. :-) i like the cruiser and i probably will buy it, if for nothing else then for the fleshie Quoi gon, but the blockade runner would have been much better.

[quote name='badgerboy' date='Jul 5 2007, 02:21 PM' post='171461' (I'd love a future Batman set to include Superman though) unfortunately lego dont have a licence for any non-batman characters so supes is out for now at least. we could however get some bat chicks in the way of Oracle, Huntress and Batgirl though. As for the Indy lego bashing above; as i have already pointed out in an earlier post there is a lot of scope in the Indy movies for some truly great sets. those are long films with a whole lot of stuff i dont recall seeing from lego before such as wwII era tanks and planes as well as train sets and zepelins. As for the complaints over the fleshie figs though, i think that may be a different argument for a different day.

Thanks for the feedback guys; the sets you both mentioned were my favourites too. plus Iamded i thought that a set from last crusade of the dog fight between the two planes after the escape from the zepelin would be awsome too. i think its about time we got a few old skool plane sets. starfighters and airliners are good but oldfashioned ones would be nice. there is Scarecrows biplane from the batman theme i guess.

agreed; that ship is amazing and a bit more cannon than the hawk.

Has anybody entertained the possibility of an Ebon Hawk now that there are EU sets being made?

I recently spent some time in the torture chamber; while i was there i had some time to reflect on the indy line and came up with some ideas for extra sets. Although as i dont work for Lego they are just a bunch of lovely 'what if' ideas, please all let me know what you think. I figured that as TLC are making four sets for the new film why not have four for each. Here goes: Raiders of the Lost Ark. in addition to the three sets already named we could have a set depicting Indys fight around the plane in the dessert. It could include an X-wing scale model of the aircraft, and maybe a few oil barrels, and four mini-figs; Indy, Marrion, Generic Pilot and the legendery Pat Roach. Temple of Doom As there are no sets named for this movie yet i got full range. To start we could have a Shanghai chase set from the begining of the film, wich could include two classic cars, mini-figs of Willie, shortround and indy as well as a few bad guys. The escape from the plane over India, another X-wing scale set again with Indy, Willie and Shortround as well as the planes escapee pilots. maybe with the yellow dinghy for the landing too. As JP-30 mentioned there is a lot of scope for a mine cart chase set too, i know its a bit soon for them to re-use the dwarf cart molds but that would be good. Finally a small set from the end of the film depicting the temple itself, you wouldnt need much; just the alter and the cage and ofcourse a shirtless Indy figure. Last Crusade This is without doubt my favourite Indy film and has so many possibilities but i narrowed it down to three ideas. Firstly i thought why not have the Young Indy train scene from the begining, train sets are always cool and to have an indy one with zoo animals too would be great. The tank scene. this could be really good, it could consist of a well detailed tank and a hand full of figures to fight on and around it. Finally we could have a Batcave scale set of the tomb from the end of the film. it could include a frontage, the passage and the grail room. you could have a lot of fun with the gimmicks for this set and best of all it could have a good old fashioned Lego Knight mini-figure. Whew... as i said i had a lot of time to think of all that and purely in the interest of resaerch i sat down and watched all three films over three days to come up with better ideas. Thanks for reading

I PICKED UP THE pRIME AND mEGGIE TOYS TODAY TO THROW ON THE OLD PILE AND I WAS REALLY IMPRESSED. PRIME ROCKS IN A MILLION WAYS, MEGGIE IS PRETTY RUBBISH IN MANY WAYS BUT HE LOOKS COOL. JULY 27 FOR THE MOVIE THOUGH. I CANT BELIEVE HOW LONG A WAIT THAT IS.

the bastards! it looked really cool too. thats actually really dissapointed me, ill still by it for the tank but the big riddler sign and all the gas bottles and stuff looked really fun. Damn you lego.

OK somethin i dont get about the battank set. why on the box pictures from january is the hideout clearly depicted as an interesting mess of parts and what not sat behind a gate, including platforms and a massive riddler sign; but on the toyfair and later pictures is it just a gate? is it a fully functioning hideout or just a gate, help me people i gots to know!
