Yeah, maybe the black ninja is just a generic ninja for the preliminary artwork, like the minifig selection on the box, those are just generic design representing the number of minifigures included on the sets, not the actual design for the minifigures.

Cole's costume looks almost the same in that previous pic, when they announce the voice casting... I hope Jay doesn't get that new hair color, he doesn't look like the Jay we know :/
