  1. Fab, thanks. I'll get one of each so he can build whatever he likes.
  2. Thank you HorcikDesigns! He has a V1 and a V2 receiver, a train controller (8879) and an IR remote control (8885) so all he'd need is the extension wire? I gather you mean this one: https://shop.lego.com/en-GB/LEGO-Power-Functions-Extension-Wire-8886
  3. My 7-year old has been asking for a buggy motor for ages so I got him one to give as a Christmas/Saint Nicholas present in a few weeks. It arrived today, trouble is I didn't realise the power connection isn't compatible with the new Lego Power Functions. Can people please point me in the right direction of what I need to do to get the motor to work? Thanks in advance! Oh and also, do people usually have one buggy motor for each wheel they power or is one buggy motor enough for my son to use in his models (mainly his own creations).
  4. Newbie here, mum of a 7-year old Lego Technic fanatic. I'm hoping to get some help here to enable my son to develop his skills.
