  1. Hi guys and happy holidays/christmas/birthday/etc Looking for inspiration here. Although I have a healthy sized spare room I have to admit I have people staying often =( I figure I can possibly donate roughly 1.5 metres by almost a metre permenent residence for something, and I can go upwards too and down... if I cannot go out. Looking for something to aim for as at present I see grand city mocs that I am uber jealous of! I would like to fit the tram from the city square set into it, potentially on an old monorail. I would also love a railway of some sort! soooooo any tips would be great :) I have bits building up and nowhere to go with them! Thanks in advance :)
  2. That's the look I was thinking but hiding it somehow so the tram can still be transparent and look great :) I love the mod with or train motor, just fancied trying my own thing :)
  3. Thanks I had already seen that. I meant putting a motor in the bicycle unit...with a grey technic motor maybe. I was thinking standing this upright with cogs to power an axle.
  4. Hi guys one of my first posts so be gentle :) I have been purchasing some new ages lego to go with my late 80s early 90s stuff...and I really want to motorize the 60097 tram! Having seen this done as a monorail, and with 9v, and with pf...I was thinking about space and wondered if using one of the technic motors, stood " end on " in the bicycle car...would be a good way to go? obviously theres the IR and battery, I just felt that the gears with these motors to drive an axle MAY create some extra room in carraiges or even trains? Apologies if it had been covered...just thinking things up.
  5. Hi I'm new year! I was a big lego fan back in late 80s and early 90s and drifted out of lego on and off...Always keen to help family and friends with building their more modern lego I have turfed my old lego out of the attic and have decided to try and build a city or space themed area. I will be browsing brick this year at the NEC and hope to make friends on here :) Some of my old favourite sets stretch from light n sound road works, to m tron, to a push along train! :)
