Having said that, GG will always be worth AT LEAST the money spent on it - it's a FANTASTIC parts pack. I got mine just before Christmas having missed out on Cafe Corner. I just managed to get a Marker Street. Yesterday I bought an extra Green Grocer which I intend to use sell at some point in the future to help aquire a Cafe Corner. I can't see GG being IN PRODUCTION as well as FB and GM - if they could produce and stock 3 modulars simultaneously, I don't think that they would have deleted CC so suddenly.

Joey That will be Gloucester! Bob

Hello all Can I assume that TLC has discontinued the 7893 LArge passenger plane as it no longer appears on shop at home? My local TRU has loads left in stock. Bob

Lego SORT OF shows false 7994 picture at Lego.com
Six Wide Bob replied to RupeeClock's topic in LEGO Town
I though it was pretty obviously NOT an advert for a set personally. I thinks it's great that LEGO show sets together as it fores the imagination!! Bob -
Top notch! That's like from back in the day when shoe-laces were fat, and Michael Jackson was Black! Bob

WoWW!!! What's Jeffery Archer doing on the box? How cool is that??

More women? Perhaps Lego should do a 'Desperate Housewives' minifig pack! It would sell like hotcakes! Bob

Ok! Here's an idea for a mod of this set: Buy a couple of the mechancic sets (7901) for the jet engines http://www.brickset.com/detail.aspx?Set=7901-1 ...and make it look like this Antonov 72: http://www.aerospaceweb.org/aircraft/trans...n72/an72_08.jpg

Top Banana! Creator houses are going from strength to strength! Des Res On!

Klaus It's called a 'Lifeboat' over in the UK. Our lifeboats are bright orange and and operated by a NGO called the RNLI. Bob

I was thinking over the weekend: How about a 'Regatta' or even 'America's Cup' Suntheme. Racing Yachts!! The new planes and boats shown that TLC is happy with larger moulded pieces which would obviously be needed for the Hull. A cool looking floating toy with sails and motor option would sell pretty well imho. The also have the option to RC it as well? Spinnakers On! Bob p.s. As long as the water isn't too rough :-X

Does anyone of have pictures of the gas station with road plates around it? It's a slightly odd shape and it the car wash sticking out makes it difficult to integrate into a dense town. Cheers! 30 litres of unleaded, a Ginster's Pasty and a can of Panda Pop On! Bob

Legoland windsor..what a nice place
Six Wide Bob replied to Bloke's topic in General LEGO Discussion
My Brother-in-Law is taking my (nearly 5 year old) daughter to Legoland Windsor in a few weeks time. I'm jealous :-( , because I'll be at work 'healing the sick'. *y* I'll have to give her some money to spend in the shop! Even my wife won't be able to frown on that expenditure on Lego!! >:-) Bob -
It could be pimped quite well with a pair of the new jet engines from the airport mechanic set! Obscene power on!

Thanks I know about promos, but Brickset does't say it's a promo. Shame really, as it looks gook. Bob

Hello! I found this on Brickset: http://www.brickset.com/detail.aspx?Set=2064-1 anyone know if this is going to be for general release? If so when? Bob

The good Doctor has neatly summed up my thoughts very well - A SIXTY QUID POLICE STATION; THAT'S GOING TO BE BIG! Bob

There's an interesting thread pinned in the General Discussion Forum. Someone has found a list of sets available from Jan 2008 from Amazon.de: Here's the translation: LEGO Action 7723 - Police Water Plane EUR 25,99 (probably in the line of the swimming Police and Fire Boats) LEGO City 7741 - Police Helicopter EUR 12,99 LEGO City 7743 - Police Surveillance Car EUR 39,99 (might be a truck considering the price) LEGO City 7744 - Police Station EUR 89,99 Bugger!! Talk about a police state! How about some town for these guys to protect and serve? Bob

To be honest, those 4 wide trucks don't really do it for me. We need a new truck stop NOW! Fried Breakfast and a copy of the Sun On! Bob
-
Personally, I'd like to see: 1. Bus +/- Bus stop. 2. Cars - a collection of car parts to make 3-4 cars to encourage MOCers and Pimpers!!! The petrol station is the only kit with a modern car that isn't white and covered in 'Fuzz' stickers. 3. Petrol tanker - to complement the petrol station. 4. More Houses and Shops. finally, and most unlikely to happen.... 4. A public toilet with George Michael Minifig! Cottaging On! Bob

Sorry! Wrong thread!

That's terribly sad news. I very much hope that Market Street is a big seller - then more of Eric's design may be offically release as sets. I really want a market street set (for my kids of course! well that's what I'm going to have to tell my wife). Bob
