  1. My Favorite childhood set also! i have great memories of getting this one for christmas. Seeing what you have done is making me want to dig through the old pile of lego to rebuild it. Great work on the walls..... no way anyone is getting inside there! Love the expanded troop regiment complete with their own updated blacksmith inside the castle. Great work and love to the Black Knights
  2. This looks fantastic, I love the vibe I get from looking at it. Really great stonework and mixing in of the tree all in a compact set. Great work
  3. This is an excellent thread, and i do agree with De Gothia, maybe once a few stages have been done we can seperate the past lessons into a guide or stickied thread of its own or something, anyway, fantastic for sharing these tips with everyone, a great idea, thanks again!
  4. Great looking set! have been loving the look of all the Kingdoms line, will definatley be building a dragon and crownie tent ahead of time to make it a four way tournament, alot of possibilities with this set, and i cant see myself ever breaking it down, but wow, what a great parts pack! as previously stated, no panel walls, i love that! the Black Falcon knight is great and i sure hope a sign of things to come as i hope Kingdoms continues but shifts from the lions/dragons conflict to perhaps falcons/forestmen, the clean designs of all Kingdoms buildings has been an eye catching high point for Lego and this set continues to impress in that aspect. Lego is definatley keenly aware of what their fans seem to want and are doing a great job at delivering lately. cheers
  5. yup! thats the one! thank you very much! very speedy response
  6. Hello! so right to the point, i remember browsing the forums a number of months ago and came across a post of someones 7946 Kings Castle, which was basically, two sets built on top of eachother with a bigger gate area, looking thru the past pages i cant seem to find the original post, or photos of it in the moc pages, maybe im missin something but i am just wondering if anyone remembers the post im talking about and has a link to where i can find pictures of it, Any help is apprecaited, i was hoping to look at it again as i remember liking it and am considering buying a second 7946 while its on sale for 20%less this week thanks in advance for anyhelp! appreciated -Fiction
  7. the title of this thread suits my question so i thot id post an add on question, after looking at bricklink prices, for new, sealed in box Imperial Flagship, ive seen several for around $60.00 cheaper than on S@H, can these sets be trusted? how can so many sellers offer the product for that much less than what lego sells them for? maybe im missing something ovbious, but seems even with shipping i can get a NIB 10210 for a good amount less than thru lego themselves just wondering, maybe they got it on a deal and are reselling? *shrugs* any thoughts?
  8. Thanks for all the replys thats a great picture, just what i was lookin for, they dont look too bad at all together, and im sure there could be numerous layout's thanks for all the help, much appreciated, now to dig up some cash for the store opening!
  9. Hi, so i just have a couple of questions i was hoping to get answers for, did a bit of searching but didnt come up with much. the first one i suppose may be a bit of personal opinion, but ill ask anyway 1.Does anyone own mmv and diagon alley? and how do they look/fit together? i was thinkin of picking up diagon alley to go with my mmv, just wasnt sure if the bircks and themes would clash or go well together, anychance anyone has a pic of the two together? 2. related, somewhat, a lego store is opening up near me in a few days (toronto) do they sell the exclusive sets like diagon? or is that purely lego.com s@h? thats it for now, i had more but i was able to find answers on other threads thanks in advance, cant wait to go to the stores opening!
  10. Been working on a third part to my mini fort on my spare time, finished it up today and figured id upload some images this part sorta rounds it out and makes it a bit more formidable, hope you enjoy! and on the inside.... the full fortress inside aswell and of course, all this construction as caught the eyes of the Lion Knights, who wont allow it to go.. unchallenged.
  11. thanks for the replys! these are definatley works a progress, im limited on my lego and colour, especially dark green and browns, but am tryin to build these and more true to the official colour themes, lookin forward to seein more Dragon Knight stuff i the future from others as well!
  12. So since i started collecting lego kingdoms, ive found myself siding with the Dragon Knights, for some reason, maybe its just their colour scheme, but i definatley prefer them! due to their lack of current structures i decided to try making some of my own, one a copy of the Lion Knights sentinel tower, and a second a modified Prison Tower, since i find the original lacking, hope you enjoy! and its modular!
  13. Hello! just commin out of what i recently learned was my dark age. always loved castle as a kid, after seeing the new sets in stores i slowly started pickin some up here and there, untiljust recently when i made more of an investment, just picked up: a prison carrige rescue, knights showdown, two prison tower rescues, and thanks to lego shop at home, the gorgeous medieval market village, what a great set, it just arrived in the mail, cant wait to build it! been checkin these forums for a few weeks now, so comforting to know im not alone in loving these little bricks!
