Don't worry about the old sets. Start from 8043 and the coming 8110, you could buy each year's Technic flagship product. Soon your home will be full. Also you can always create your own.

I just cannot wait to get the 8110 Unimog set. But I already have 8258 Crane Truck. I doubt whether these two sets (8258 vs. 8110) are too similar. As we don't know the details of 8110, I cannot tell. But at least they look a little bit similar. Does anyone have concern about it?
