I can confirmed the new head of IG-88 is printed. I've seen updated and detailed pics of this sets from a certain "little bird".

Ahhh finally it's revealed! I hope my earlier description help you guys imagine this set as close as this pic.

From what I remember from the film, Echo base was more of an "indoor" base if I'm correct. This set looks more of an "outdoor" set to me. Leia in Hoth outfit looks good (looks very much like this), the bacta tank is a nice touch with the 2-1B medical Droid, the battery/missiles didn't really impress me. When I looked at it, it looks more like a bunch of flicker missiles.

The pic i saw was when the base was opened up. It's sort of a foldable structure with one side a battery of guns/missiles kinda thing and the other side you can see a command center i think with some control panel and then the bacta tank. I don't believe i spotted a door or a gate.

As I asked my friend for a 2nd look, I was hoping to find a vehicle as well. But the only vehicle I spotted was the snow speeder bike. I'm sure I scanned the picture long enough to not miss a vehicle. As for being a base, yes I'd say it looks like a base and it's pretty big enough. I would also agree, you most probably can combine all the previous hoth sets with this one to form a big hoth scene.

I'm almost 100% sure. I was staring and counting the number of figures pretty long. Total of 8 figures.

Hi guys, I managed to have another look at the upcoming Hoth Echo Base set and this time I made sure I stared it for a good few minutes to memorize everything I see. Here are the highlights: Minifigures: 2 x Snowtroopers, 1 x Han in Hoth outfit with Tauntaun, 1 x Chewbacca, 1 x Princess Leia in Hoth outfit, 1 x Red Protocol Droid (Red C-3PO), 1 x Medical Droid (2-1B), 1 x Luke Skywalker (half naked in Bacta Tank). Surprisingly there are no Rebel Troopers... Vehicles: 1 x Snow Speeder Bike, 1 x E-web Heavy Repeating Blaster Description of set: It's like a kind of foldable structure. One side consists a battery of guns for defence and the other side is a command center with a medical area that holds the Bacta Tank. Number of pieces: Looks like a 700-800 piece set (Think Battle Of Endor size) I confirm and certify the source is very reliable and please don't ask me to reveal my source coz I can't. No date of release and information on price yet. I hope this helps.

The last time they also did a cancel on me. They couldn't deliver the pharaoh's quest sets when they first came out. They also lost my T-6 Jedi shuttle in the mail but they refunded me after some complaints.

My full set of LEGO POTC went down the drain when they canceled my order. First they say it was delayed and then with no warning they canceled it. Seriously, this is not the first time this has happened. Just how unreliable is Barnes and Nobles?

Yes, the source is very reliable. I won't want to put up fake info to get us Star Wars fans excited for nothing. Like I said, it was a quick glance, so I can't provide you a date of release and price. All I can remember was this looks to be a big set, say "Battle of Endor" size set? Has tonnes of minifigs (some rebels hopefully Major Bren is one of them). I only mentioned the Bacta Tank and the Red C-3PO in my previous post because that's the 2 things that stood out. The rest of the set looks very much like the continuation of 7666 Hoth Rebel Base. When I looked at the pic, the thought of combining these 2 sets to make a huge Echo Base came into my mind. I'm sorry I can't provide more information. I can't remember clearly the stuff I wasn't paying attention to. But for the Bacta Tank and Red C-3PO, it's solid.

I've seen the Hoth Echo Base set. It was a quick glance. But I can tell you this, there's a Luke in a Bacta Tank and there's a RED C-3PO (something like this).

I doubt these sets are fake. The building instructions are available now and you can check it here and here.

I've seen the building instructions to this model. Cottonwood version is very close. If you think the exterior of the model is nice, you should see the details TLG put into the pet shop (especially the fish in the fish tank).
