Long time lurker first time poster! I've been doing Lego train for well over a decade but all my steam locos haven't been able to run well. I've been tasked with making one for My lug that will need to run all day at the show so I'm out looking for a great base (layout of the wheels) to build a custom on. Wanted a model similar to the emerald night with an extra large wheel axle. Something like a polar express. I've got the passenger cars figured out just need a nice locomotive Any one have any instructions they would reccommend or a place to start? Many thanks in advance!

Does it run well? I've got a show for Christmas and I wanted to do a steam loco but it will have to run all day with no issues and I know steamers can be temperamental
