Marvel Superheroes 2020 - Rumors & Discussion
SpiderJazz replied to Captain Nemo's topic in LEGO Licensed
I kinda agree, it could have been nice to see those needed variant of characters that we won't probably see in the next few years. Ah well, it is what it is. -

Yeah rotors is the biggest problem of the set, minifigure scale hellicarrier is really hard to pull off. Damn, I wish I didn't expect too much. I should have learned from the past lol. But looking forward to get this figures. -

I hope they use flip ups for more MCU suits (in the future if ever) and stay with this mold for comic/TV Series. -

If you're following Minilegogo he is teasing the new helmet for War Machine tho it's really blurry and camera tricky. -

The print makes up for it. I dunno. I like this probably also because of the consistency both of Iron Man and War Machine having this helmet is nice. If we get a new Rescue it's welcome too. Yeah I mean, IW pack has arm printing so that's a plus points hahaha. Though, I'm very curious to see the shoulder gun mold. -

It looks fine and effective, while Iron Man's face plate is printed all over the mold, War Machine isn't the same coz he has a small face plate printed in silver with glowing red eyes, it also has the same design from Infinity War helmet that has ventilation on the sides of the jaw. Very cool if you ask me. It gives an effect that it's bulky. -

If I had to compare the look of this War Machine is similar to this new comics Avengers: Force Works. -

BREAKING NEWS! I have seen the new War Machine helmet, the same mold as Rescue/ Vulture / Wasp. Printing is so good. I can't tell which version it is coz it's not comics and we haven't seen War Machine in the game yet. Props to @Falconfan1414 being accurate that he will indeed have a new helmet. -

Ooops doubled. Heard that too. I'm okay with that. Just like spidey swinging into someone else's movie. I trust Feige on this kind of introduction then after that, we get their somehow "origin story" I cannot wait for this. Imagine your lego MCU collection number will double up! -

When it comes to X-men, I think Lego will wait for MCU debut for them to make sets based of them. Yes, they are popular in comics as well as animated series. But joining the MCU is gonna be massive. And I think that's gonna be a cash cow for merchandising. And I can see MCU costume can be close to comic just a bit modern. -

Thanks! That's nice to know. I am looking forward to it. I agree to you that these figures being posted came from just one seller. I totally know that. So we will see soon. I'll patiently wait. -

Could you answer if do you think it's gonna be the Rescue/Super Adaptoid/Vulture/Wasp helmet mold? Or totally new? -

Yeah, it's the one from Endgame with Quantum Realm suit. And no word yet if he's gonna have that mold or will be even a newer one. We'll see soon I guess. -

Agreed. It is bulky that it looks like it's meant for male character. I also think a mohawk won't make a difference. -

Appreciate that! And thank you so much. If this indeed will happen, marvel fans gonna blow this up. Regardless if it's MCU or comic based. It'll be something special. But I'm leaning towards it being MCU because that's like hot cakes now. Thanks once again. It isn't weird. It looks totally whack. This is what I'm trying to say few pages back. Yes it's nice to have a new mold. But what happens if it doesn't look good with the figure itself. And there you have it. While the figure is detailed you got a bulky helmet with no printing at all. LMAO. I predict this thingzzz hahaha. When I first saw that helmet I knew it won't be good with the figure -

Can't deny, this Captain Marvel minifigure is well made. I love the details, still bummed about the helmet being plain when the figure has lots of prints in it. Would love to see the helmet on. I'm glad that Marvel is now getting some love and attention. Hopefully it means well for MCU sets moving forward. PS. @Itaria No Shintaku CMF is your game, I fully trust you with the information that you bring and it's appreciated. If you get some updates, I think many people here would love to hear the progress. Thanks once again. -

Past Loki figs is more detailed and accurate compare to this new one. But I didn't get my hopes so high for a 4+ figure. -

First off, I'm not complaining. I already have a perfect mold for Carol's helmet made by a custom brand. I'm happy with it. This addition of official helmet is also great. I'm just stating the facts that it looks boring and bland when it could be better. Isn't that the point of this thread to discuss? Ya'll people so dramatic. PS. I praise TLG if they deserve it, I always do. Give the credit when it's due. -

PS. To be fair comic version doesn't have blue stripes at all. But it has lines to make it more looking like an armor type not just cloth. MCU has an armor detailing and a small star in the middle, while Comics has a fin-type in the middle of the helmet. This won't work with any versions. If we are being realistic here and we got a Red Guardian based on the movie. It's either printed helmet or re -use of captain america mold in red. -

This leak could be so early and just a prototype mold. I can be wrong, I would be glad to be wrong. -

Only thing that bugs me is if that's what is it. That's too plain. No printing/design at all? -

I dunno. This feels to plain. I have to see it with the figure first.
