I don't know. I have a hard time believing that Lego would re-design the helmets and alien torsos just to end the line after two sets. It could happen, but I think we'll be seeing some more stuff come out.

I know it's only based on two sets so far, but... Air tanks on the Space Police- CHECK. Enclosed helmets on the Space Police- CHECK. Trans coloured visors- CHECK. Trans colour on the baddie ships- CHECK. Lego has just rectified every issue I had with the 2009 line while retaining all the fun and classic homages that I enjoyed. This year looks even BETTER!

That's an awesome little ship. May I suggest using an Explorian tube-helmet to better capture the likeness of a viper pilot?

I saw some of the 2008 boxes have a picture of an Alien Commander MF, and it looks like it might have REAL arms. Does anyone know if this is true? If so it is great news!

Thanks for the comments guys. And no, the drill unit was just a trailer with a drill before. That's one of the reasons I wanted to do the mod, why have a 4 tire vehicle if a MF can't drive it?

So I just picked up the 7648 Mobile Mining Unit set. I was really excited about this set because of how "traditional" it looked.(Traditional not classic) I got it and really enjoyed the set, but I thought up a few changes to make it better. Making the mining section a bit more fun and turning the space that was supposed to be a lab into something that looked more like the lab. One thing to take notice of is that I used every piece of the set and not one brick more(I just moved and my legos are still in storage). So you can do these mods simply by buying the set.

Well, here's my base. Aerial view. A MORE Aerial view. Front Gate Weapons Depot with door closed. Weapons Depot open. Weapons Depot Int. There are guns and bombs and stuff in there, and w weapons rack. Missile Launcher. Compactor, crushes the battle damaged mechs after battle to be rebuilt....whatever you know it's cool, it's got tanks treads as a belts. Main Tower. Control/Thrown Room, Prison, Gunner Station. Repair Bay. Human Mech.("I'm the Mountain Warrior, and this is my robot!") Robot Mech, Mighty Hawk.

I can still enter right? I'm almost done and it's still June first here for 7 hours...
