Just got this today along with the dirt bike transport and the off road fire truck (way cool). Excited to build.

Kinda what I'm thinking. Could be 600-800 next year. Have the brigade and the pet shop... Unreal. The emporium just doesn't fit my theme. Thanks for the opinion. Just needed the shove... Not like this is bricks anonymous..

Got a chance to get a green grocer... Nsib. My dream set. 350 though. It would go with my town theme, but that's alot of money. Should I save for the new city sets like the police unimog?

I love the holiday sets... Tradition to put them out at christmas. I love the toy shop.. Bakery or post office would be good as well.

Lighthouse is a great set... Can't get into the tower bridge. Passed up the robie for my first train - 3677- going to put it around the tree. Will definitely hit robie after a price drop. Doubt if anything will be as good as falling water... Anyone have any opinions on the new sets?

Fallingwater is SO good... Kinda looking to replicate the experience.

Any thoughts on the robie house? Falling water was an excellent set... But 200 seems steep.

Was at the schaumburg IL store yesterday and got the caravan and the pursuit sets... that chopper looks interesting, but something made me hesitate... anyone who has built it have any thoughts?

So some of you have actually seen these at your local lego store? Just at mine tonight (Schaumburg, IL) and did not see any... I guess I could order online, but part of the thrill for me is the hunt... kinda like searching for star wars / gi joes when I was a kid... Really psyched for that camper... thanks for the notes on the interior... The police chopper looks cool too... still think the coast guard heli from 08 is way cooler though.

I so love the basement door!! Ended up getting it at the lego store tonight. Amped to start building tomorrow... Anyone have any thoughts on the red cargo train? Looked pretty cool at the store, but it's rated fairly low...

These sets are phenomenal. Going to get most of them. The off road fire truck with the amphibious vehicle doesn't really appeal to me though. The one from a year or two ago was far better. I love the bad guy hide out and that camper!

Got this set on Friday at TRU for 30% off. Waited for the sale as it seems there's quite a bit of criticism out there toward it. I started building yesterday and completed this morning... I was blown away with the set. Do Han and Chewie fit in the cockpit (strictly using directions), no. Is the bottom unfinished, yes. I think too many people - including the manager at my local lego store - compare this to the UCS Falcon... total apples to oranges. This set costs 1/5 of the UCS original retail... 1/15 of the current BL / ebay costs of the UCS. This set occupies 1/4 the space of the UCS set (this is a huge consideration for me as I am sure it is for many of you). I know the UCS is sweet, but I refused to pay that much for a set. The 7965 has a great interior, looks fantastic from the outside, and the build (while slightly repetitious) was lengthy, challenging and fun. For all of you that missed the UCS and keep whining about it, while this is not the UCS, it is a cheap, space efficient and fun alterative. Probably the best set of the year. Don't let the haters dissuade you. This is a great set - if you are thinking about, just go get it.

Been wanting to do this for a while - create a small diorama that is. Any comments / suggestions would be welcome.

I think the cowboy from series 1 is totally underrated. He's a great fig.
