  1. Has Eurobricks become some sort of skilled BZP moc'ers refuge? It sure seems like it. Anyway, welcome, I'm also a BZP member and I've seen your mocs and I'm glad we have even more talent here at Eurobricks.
  2. The v-wing is a pretty nice little ship and I'm a sucker for these cheap clone sets, so I'm going to buy a few of them.
  3. I don't understand the point of posting that comment. If you know nothing about BIONICLE, just don't post.
  4. Kopaka, because his attitude is similar to mine, he has the best element and he is the smartest toa.
  5. Komau, hands down.
  6. I think this is supposed to be a joke, but it isn't really funny to BIONICLE fans like myself.
  7. I have mixed feelings about the "system" BIONICLE sets. The sets are decent, but overpriced. I greatly dislike the one-piece minifigs used in these sets, it would of been pretty easy to make them like battle droids, but instead LEGO makes them all one-piece. I'll admit I
  8. See, LEGO couldn't get the same type of fans for Vikings or even Star Wars if it was done in the same way as BIONICLE is. I know many BZP members who think LEGO system is for kids only, but like BIONICLE. Without BIONICLE, LEGO could never get those fans.
  9. Especially since keelerak aren't female. ;)
  10. I personally do not like this theme, but I thought, maybe some BZP members would like it, because it is targeted closer to the BIONICLE age group then most other themes. I was surprised that most actually hated the theme, except for some who really liked Alpha Team. I think it is nice that most KFoLs and AFoLs can agree that this is a bad theme, but who is left to buy the sets?
  11. If LEGO gets a new license, it should be a Nintendo license. It would sell very well to kids, probably equal to BIONICLE's sales. I don't really see how LEGO could mess it up either. This would be one theme where you would only need the main characters, so no problem there, and the minifigs would be pretty easy to make.
  12. I really don't see the big deal, many people name their children after these types of things. Just look at people named Yoshi, many are named after the Mario character, just like how this person will be named after a BIONICLE character. I don't see the difference.
  13. I'll have to agree with snefroe1 as well. each theme has its purpose. For example, BIONICLE helps bring more people to LEGO, and KK2 has a purpose as well.
  14. Hi, welcome to Eurobricks, Darkie. i'm sure you will enjoy being a member in these forums, because I sure do. I also live in the U.S.
  15. Eurobricks sure has grown. Maybe when I reported some of the news that had to do with BIONICLE that was on Eurobricks to BZPower, I caused many more BZP members to join. The BIONICLE section didn't hurt either.
  16. Actually, I don't mind the new lightsaber colors, I always hated the stupid crome coming off so easily on the crome-colored sabers.
  17. It's a good MOC , BFS, but I have some suggestions. The arm connection looks a little weak, I suggest trying to somehow make it seem stronger without stopping the arms from moving. I think I just have a problem with a very large MOC with only ball joints securing the limbs, but you probably don't have this MOC built still any way, so it doesn't matter.
  18. So, after this new forum was made, I'd like to know who enjoys 2004's or 2005's sets and which do ther think is the best year for BIONICLE sets. I like 2004's sets slightly more because of Toa Lhikan and the Toa Metru which were great sets. The big sets of 2005 look cool though, along with the system sets.
  19. I agree, why are BBCs turning into popularity contests? It doesn't really matter though, as long as you like building MOCs, winning contests doesn't matter. I know first hand, I used to make myself enter BBCs when I didn't want to; as a result my creations weren't very good.
  20. Nice relationship? They take pride in torturing people who like LEGO sets other than Bionicle. Did you see with what pride they said that Vikings won't be coming this year? :P [sarcasm]That comment was not hypocritical.[/sarcasm] Any way, if BIONICLE fans did what you said, there would be no LGD forum on BZPower. I think the real problem is respect. if you don't like BIONICLE, don't post in the BIONICLE forum, saying how much you hate it. I agree with you that most BIONICLE pieces do not belong in Vikings or any other theme, but I think they do work sometimes.
  21. Hi bigfatslob, I'm a BIONICLE fan as well. Eurobricks tolerates BIONICLE fans a lot more than most AFOL sites(I'm looking at you Classic-Castle), so don't worry.
  22. BFS, I'm glad you posted this on Eurobricks,. MOCS like this are what make less people hate BIONICLE. Didn't you get 2nd place in BBC 26 with this?
  23. I thought this was a topic about the DINO attack theme.... Anyway, I agree with many of you, in that I think this theme is pretty bad. The vikings are good, not as great as many thought they would be, but the real theme I like in 2005 is KK2, it hasn't changed much, and Vladek's fortress looks great. Sure some of the stuff is good in this line, but the dinos make the sets to costly to be worth purchase.
  24. Castle's great. Army building is great with this theme. On accident I voted other though...
  25. This is a great set, and it is available now in the US! The skin tone doesn't matter when compared to the great fig count, and the shuttle, which I never had bought. To top it off, it only costs $50. It puts many of the RotS sets to shame...
