When I compare how my Lego's survived play when I was a kid and how my Star Wars toys failed to survive it, it is no doubt that the lego versions are better. My daugther has crashed her lego x-wing multiple times without any permenant affect. My plastic x-wing had to have its s-foils glued together rather quickly and only on side is still attached to the hull. Similar stories for the snow speeder missing most of its parts and AT-AT without guns.

Thanks I was thinking I should replace the dark grey dishes with white ones to make the blue eyes more noticable.

Since Target was using the Mini AT-ST as part of their Easter presents I tried to make it match the theme a little better with ears, buck teeth, and cottontail with a little spring garden for good measure.

The City and Kingdoms Advents last year were 34.99 so I doubt that a Star Wars will be less than 39.99

Got my daughter the green dragon wizard impulse item this weekend at the local meijer this weekend.

I was luck, my mom garage sold away my He Man, GI Joe, and many other toys but she always like lego's so they stayed in her basement for 20 years undisturbed until a year ago when my daughter and I came over to check out the supply. I had my mom check and she found directions for 20 Castle sets(at least one of which I did not remember owning while not finding several I was pretty sure we had) which I think will take me a year to sort out at a couple of hours every other month during visits to her place.

Problem is more like I have 80% of the castle sets from 84-91 but they are all together in 2 copy paper boxes and I cannot remember exactly which sets I had. If I have the instructions then I can build those sets then see what is left over to make the sets that I lost the instructions for like the yellow castle. I tried to make some progress on getting the sets together but their are so many bricks. Just seperating out the some of the bricks by color took an hour.

Most of the kids probably roll through in about a 4-5 year cycle so a good deal of the customer base might not have one. Late Teen or Adult collectors might be different. I do not have one since I am just now getting sets again to play with my daughter after stopping buying lego's in the early ninties.

I am pretty sure I had 6030,6073,6018, and 6060 but I no not know if I have the manuals anymore. I will have to check it out next time I stop by my mom's house who still has all my classic sets.

While more detail on the falcon would be better, the basic bottom makes it better to play with. If you already have one, then you really do not need it but what star wars collection would be complete without a falcon. The pods are out from pure distaste with their parts in the series.

The Mill looks really good. I already have plenty of castles/knights from the 80's early 90's that I can pass down to my daughter but that was a time with almost no civilians or female minifigures that she would like. I will probably get her the mill and blacksmith. I might also get her the MMV so she can have a nice medival themed play area.

I just mounted my daughter's prison tower set onto one of my old green thin large baseplate so that there was some battle space for the minifigures infront of the tower. It you look at the new Mummy pyramid it has a very interesting looking baseplate to cut the brick count down to get the shape they wanted.
